I had intended to spend this time of my life writing a review for James Cameron’s “Avatar,” but there is a bit of news involving a protect surrounding the film that I feel needs to be addressed. But instead of listening to me talk about it, let’s let the folks over at the Stop Avatar Movie blog: ---------------------------------------
On Friday, December 18, 2009 thousands of people will be protesting the release of the James Cameron movie, Avatar. The purpose of the protest is as follows:
1) To make all people aware that heterosexual arrogance, assumptions or exclusions of alternative sexualities in movies is no longer acceptable. Diversity and tolerance are human rights.
2) To speak out for all gay, bi-sexual, genderless and transgender people who are not represented by any character in Avatar.
3) To educate people about Evolution and humanity's transition to transgenderism.
All protests will be peaceful and non-confrontational. Suggested methods of protest:
* Stand outside of theaters with signs and pamphlets to express your views * Sit down in theater lobbies and do not move unless the police use force or violence upon you * Stand up during a viewing of Avatar and remain standing * Buy tickets to Avatar in bulk but do not attend showings. An empty theater sends a message * Bring your mate to the theater and show affection to each other.
Reminder: SILENCE = DEATH. We will be silent no more.

My understanding was that Avatar was filled with Liberal Propaganda anyway, but even that wasn't enough for the homosexualist perverts. They want homosexuality in every television show and movie from here on out.
These perverts are out to force their perversion on the rest of society.

The solution is very simple: let's quit watching the garbage. When the fight goes down between the homo agenda vs. the almighty dollar, the dollar will win. We outnumber them and collectively, we have the bucks.

I am so sick of this crap. I really don’t care if someone is gay, or “transgendered”, or have had their sex changed, or are into beastiality. I just don’t have the time in my day to care.
And I don’t have time in my day to listen to them, have to watch them, or watch them make out in front of me. Similarly I just don’t tolerate heterosexual massive displays of affection.
Keep it to yourself and we will all be happier.

My understanding is that this flick was supposed to do at least 85 mil in it’s opening weekend and it’s managed 78.
This is no “Dark Knight” and whether the gays protest or not, it will be closer to “Waterworld” than “Titanic”.

LOL! An empty theater with sold out tickets..........works for me! I can take calls on my cell without offending anyone.........
A good friend saw the movie and declared it a wonderful experience. This is another instance where the “propaganda” is just part of the story I think.
Personally I am going to look for a place with IMAX and catch it in 3d.
