I call BS svcw. My Uncle who fought from D-day to Berlin watched Band of Brothers and cried like a baby in the end. He had never told anyone including his wife the pain he was in after all those years. Two Silver Stars a Purple Heart and a chest full of unit citations. He was one of the best men I ever knew.

I am a fairly sentimental person but could not recall a movie which made me tear up. Certainly none made me really cry.

I did finally remember one which did move me to tears. “A Man Called Peter” starring Richard Todd, who died recently and was a true war hero.

7) How Green Was My Valley

Ya got that one right.

When Hue finds his father being slowly crushed by the weight of the cave in. Donald Crisp tore my heart out in the scene.

I think I’ve “welled up” on a few occasions, but the only one I remember for sure is at the end of ICEMAN, where he grabs on to the helicopter. That flute music really got to me.

If it makes you feel any better for sure the wreck in FBDO was a fake kit car replica and not a real Ferrari California which collectors pay the earth for.

Though not a movie, War and Remembrance definitely will have some scenes that will rip your guts out, especially the Holocaust scenes, and I remember the final scene when the Jane Seymour character was finally reunited with her son definitely very touching.

" I must confess that I only saw this movie once when I was seven or eight and I was balling from the first fifteen minutes to the closing credits."

Here is some advice for people who wish to become writers: Master the nuances of English before you publish.

Bah!!! Give me Gladiator though, and you'll see this man bawl. Absolutely moving at the end scene.

+1
The last 3 1/2 minutes always get to me.
