Setting aside the hypocrisy of those words being spoken by one of the harshest and most partisan critics of the Bush administration's prosecution of the War on Terror, let's look at the difference between the left's "cynicism and division" and the right's.

Instead of giving into cynicism and division, let's move forward with the confidence and optimism...

Ring ring...ring ring...

obama, this is your wake-up call!

Hey dumb-a**, there are people and organizations (even entire Countries) out there that wish us harm, would like to see our US Citizens dead, and our very way of life eliminated. Got that bambi? The world is a dangerous place.

No, repeat no amount idealistic wishful thinking is going to change that fundamental truth about the situation in the world. No amount of bowing and apologizing for our imagined sins will change that fact. No amount of your own perceived personal charm will change that fact. No amount of empty rhetoric will change that fact. Hiding your head in the sand will not change that fact. Attempting to re-shape America into your own personal vision of a socialist paradise will not change that fact.

Finally, as President - the job you signed up for, lied and worked for - you are obligated legally and morally to protect our Citizens from these threats. It is long past time to either sack-up or step down.
