Shocking poll: Brown leads in Mass.
The Washington Examiner ^ | January 9, 2010 | David Freddoso

Posted on 01/10/2010 7:20:17 AM PST by Scanian

Don't look now, but Republican Scott Brown leads Democrat Martha Coakley by one point, 48 to 47 percent, in Public Policy Polling's new poll of the January 19 special Senate election in Massachusetts.

Brown is benefiting from depressed Democratic interest in the election and a huge lead among independents for his surprisingly strong standing. Those planning to vote in the special election only report having voted for Barack Obama in 2008 by a 16 point margin, in contrast to his actual 26 point victory in the state.

This Public Policy poll is ‘slightly’ different from the Boston Globe poll, which shows Coakley up by 15.

Yeah, strange, because I think PP is a Dem pollster.

Isn’t the Boston Globe polling from early last week? if so it’s disingenuous to post it now. I smell a rat!

Let’s not get too excited. Public Policy Polling has close ties to the Democratic Party. It had Hoffman up by a bunch in NY23 three days before the election.

This just may be a ploy to get Dems to the polls.

Call me ignorant but I am more inclined to believe a Public Policy poll than ANYTHING put out by the Boston Globe.

Things are starting to get real interesting for the commiecrats.

Can Massachusetts fire another “SHOT HEARD ROUND THE WORLD”?

Polls are meaningless now. Special elections are really difficult to poll even if the polling firm is honest and competent. The fact is that while Coakley is a favorite, Brown has a real chance to win.

Get everybody on our side out to vote and look what ACORN is up to.

We can win this.

Democrat Martha Coakley....

Blacks won’t be showing up to vote for some honky white lady. No Obama, no show up to vote!

The Dems are going to delay Brown’s election certification.

I hope they’re ready to storm Deval’s office.

The polls run up1, to down 15 with Rassmussen having him down 9 earlier this week.

My guess he maybe be somewhere between Rassmussen and their internals i.e. up 2 to -9. So let's say he is in the middle of that range. let's say -5. With momentum and some of their numbers better than the 2 big Governors races the GOP just won ( voter sentiment etc ) I'd say he's still got a good shot @ it.

The lying libs are doing themselves a disfavor; they're depressing the RAT vote. Therefore, there is no need to vote for Coakley in this cold weather because she's far ahead. I still say, the RATs will never let Scott win. They'll "AlFranken" the election and not finalizing the "result" for the crucial Senate voting. Watch the 0Banana Republic's '10 election.

Maybe she’s visiting some black churches today where she can effect some “negro dialect” when asked to speak.

Then it is working at cross-purposes with the Globe which is nothing but a tool of the Dhimmi Party.

Brown has a chance, if all the conservatives come out and vote for him, while the libs stay at home. But any conservative who thinks his vote for Brown is a waste of time has no one to blame for a Dem victory but himself.

I’d love to see the internals. That type of liberal newspaper poll usually samples Dhimmies to Pubbies about 3-1.

I sent Brown some money today. I remember at 1 time Romney led Kennedy but lost his “spine” and never would attack “the drunken killer”.

" Can Massachusetts fire another “SHOT HEARD ROUND THE WORLD”?

Not if the Boston A.C.O.R.N. Office has anything to say about it.

I'd love to see someone make an example and roast an acorn before the election cycle gets fully underway.
