Had McCain chosen Lieberman or any other ‘rat, I flat-out would not have voted for him. I really thought that he was going to pick Lieberman. He would have, had Charlie Black not spelled out the dire situation McCain's campaign was in to convince him to him choose Palin.
Palin was always McCain's cynical choice to remain viable in the race. He could give a rat's ass about her otherwise, and he allowed his staff of RINO lobbyists to disrespect her at every turn.
