This photo below was taken at a competition in June 2008. The competition was between 9 women for best makeover.
They had every possible beauty treatment available to them over a period of 12 hours before the contest.
Look at the before and after photos. Conclusion - there are no ugly women only poor women.

I call BS, these have good basic structure. No weight issues, no major problems. Average/poor look to great is easy. No Chin, Huge nose, bugeyes, overweight, that can’t be madeover in 12 hours.
There are ugly women, and there are unattractive women who just don’t take care of themselves very well. Seems like the women in the picture are in the latter category.
Unattractive can be fixed with time and effort (and maybe a bit of money) — ugly is likely forever.

Actually, this is BS. These are the women from that Swan show from like 5 years ago. That’s where they gave ‘em all kinds of hardcore plastic surgery and stuff. But the sentiment is the same, money will get you that.

sometimes I fear in the same manner that in christ sin is temporary but stupidity is forever.
I believe that there is strong evidence of surgical enhancement.
It looks like some heavy duty girdles are being used and if one of them pops hold on because there she blows!

Non of these women are overweight. And a “make-over” last for how long? A few hours?

None of the “before” women were particularly ugly: they are merely plain and unremarkable.
Their “after” photos are nothing special: they’re still quite plain and only slightly “whored up”. Given a good wash and a bit of TLC.
There are some kinds of UGLY that no amount of whore-paint can fix: most of that kind of ugliness in in the soul, and it manifests itself externally as well.
We can all think of a few good examples of that, without posting any nasty photos onto the thread...

HUGE NOSE definately can be taken care of.. have you ever seen Oprah without makup? Her makeup artist is a God, her nose is absolutely huge, but you wouldn’t know it after she’s made up.
Now yes, her nose is huge in the verticle sense, doesn’t stick out of her face 4 inches, that is a more difficult thing to deal with granted.
