Ms Pelosi says: "We are moving forward to pass the legislation....it's just a question of HOW we will proceed....this is the opportunity of a generation otherwise there will not be healthcare for all Americans. They (Rebublicans) weren't for Medicare (now broke) Social Security (also near broke) and they are the handmaidens of the insurance companies!" It's time for Ms. Pelosi to STFU! America is voting socialism down!

If this “healthcare bill” was really good for America, then why is it being compiled and discussed behind closed doors???
Are they afraid the “Russians” will steal it????
Why is it not televised for the American people to see how good it is???

Anyone with the least bit of common sense will realize that if something is really GOOD for the people, the Congress would put it out 24/7/365 for EVERYONE to see and WANT!!!!!!
But if you have to sneak behind closed doors and do things in the wee hours of the morning to get something through then anyone with the least bit of common sense will realize they are doing something NOT good for America...
VOTE THEIR A**ES OUT IN NOVEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pelosi is certifiable....I think she actually does need a mental evaluation...
No kidding...did you see the wild look in her eyes yesterday? Hubby and I both agreed that it was downright scary, she looks insane.

I thought maybe this was just the view of the Dem leadership, but even the voters on the Left just don’t get it.

I guess they forget the lesson of Bill Clinton. He ran as a centrist, and after the Dems got spanked in the mid-term elections, he governed more like a centrist. Consequently, he got re-elected in 1996.
Thank goodness modern Democrats aren’t so savvy (or are hell-bent on ruining the country). Republicans can capitalize on this if they want. Question is, do they want?
In their eyes, the healthcare bill *is* “good” for America. They’re hiding it because they think we’re not smart enough to understand their reasoning, and might stop them (they are, of course, completely right about our intentions; it’s us they’ve completely underestimated).
I can definitely see the “leadersh*t” moving h*ll and high water to get this through: changing any rules (or ignoring any laws they need to) in their desperation to ram this through for a signature. And this democrat leadsh*t IS taking their guidance and from the media and their puppet masters to do anything to ram this through. We saw that already last night: Nobody in democrat power on TV was saying “Stop. This is enough. (Other than Webb.)”
So, assume she needed 220 slaves last time follow the socialist (er, democrat) party the last vote.
130 votes will be in completely safe districts: they won’t CARE what the rest of the nation feels. And some of these 130 are so communist/socialist that they will vote this way because their religion/indoctrination says they “must do it” - regardless of election results
Another 50 or 60 can get bribed (threatenend) to stay with the uber-sociailsts running Washington and the democrat money.)
But she will face 40 democrat realists who KNOW they will be killed politically if they vote this way. Not just the so-called “blue dog” group - though a few will come from a recognized districts like that. But democrats who have been running in races for years, and who KNOW they will get voted out if this gets rammed down the voters’ collective necks.
It’s those 40 or 50 “realists” who she won’t be able to convert to the KoolAid.

Liberal Massachussetts has already demonsratied this....no need to move forward on Obamacare....the Dems are already toast!

She wants Obamacare? She can have it. All she needs to do is (1) agree not to use her own funds for her health care needs, (2) submit all her medical records to Obama’s health care czar for review, and (3) acquiesce to that czar’s ruling that since she is an unproductive member of society over the age of 60 that she should take the blue pill.
Obamacare ram-through would return the House to the Repubs.
