Brown Fires First Shot Of Second American Revolution

First and foremost, Grand Rants wishes to congratulate Scott Brown in his victory over Atty Gen. Martha Coakley in yesterday’s Massachusetts special election. We salute Sen. Brown, his staff, and his supporters state-wide for running a clean campaign. While a smug President Obama cruised into town last weekend to downplay the Brown threat, mocking Scott’s pickup truck, it was Brown who used his the truck to skillfully navigate through Coakley’s negative campaign, taking only the high roads. Obama and Coakley just didn’t get that this is what America wants and desperately needs at this time. Let them wallow in the gutter, Scott’s a class act.

However, amidst the joy of victory, there comes some sobering realities and points that need to be acknowledged:

• The election victory may be the end of the campaign, but it’s only the beginning of Brown’s work. And he seems eager to get going.
• This was not just Scott Brown’s victory… it was America’s victory. In one of the bluest states in the country, Democrats, Independents, and Republicans came together to vote for the candidate that best reflects the mood of the country.
• The voters of Massachusetts restored the meanings of the words “Hope” and “Change” to their original definitions.
• This was nothing less than a vote of “No Confidence” for the President and the Democrat-controlled Congress for virtually their entire agenda of the past year.

Americans nationwide owe a debt of gratitude to our fellow, freedom-loving Americans in Massachusetts. Glenn Beck has been called crazy by the lame stream media, but he’s remained hopeful that Americans would rise against the Progressive Machine... And we have. The Tea Party movement, ignored by the lame stream media, has come full circle and is now a force to be reckoned with. Massachusetts has shown us that this is not about party affiliation. They’ve shown us that when the ideals of our Forefathers are threatened by insurgents such as Nancy Pelosi who ignore our wishes, it is WE THE PEOPLE who are in control. God Bless Massachusetts!

Who will play him on SNL, and will this actor appear naked on the first Scott Brown skit, which I am sure is being written for this Saturday night as I type this. You can bet they will do to him what they did to Palin and worse.

I am relishing the moment here with the Scott Brown win. However, will there be another election in November, and, does anyone more politicaly savvy than me (and that’s everybody on the planet) know who might be likely to run against him in November? And a caution, again, to Senator Brown, to keep himself and the family l) safe, and 2) on the straight and narrow until he is triumphant again in November. I worry what him and his family may face in the upcoming months.

Scott Brown and the grand voters of the great free state of Massachusetts, you certainly are on the leading edge of the second American Revolution. Our fight for freedom and liberty in our first Revolution was headed by both elites and commoners working and fighting together for independence from the British Crown!!! Thank God, for Scott Brown, a common man endowed with uncommon skill and quest for freedom and common sense!!! And....just as important, thank god almighty for the voters of Massachusetts in the millions who fired the clear and unmistakable “second shot heard round the world”. My good friends and fellow Massachusetts Americans, you join hallowed and patriotic company through your contibution to freedom and indivdual liberty. The likes of General George Washington, General Lafayette, General Daniel Morgan, General Nathaniel Green count you amongst their very being and soul. Other then George Washington, I have serious doubts that our POTUS Obama knows who the other patriots are and the brave and determined role they played in gaining freedom for our great nation!!! I’m sure many in Massachusetts know of what I speak!!!! Godspeed to Senator Scott Brown and Massachusetts citizens, may the good Lord watch and keep over you, your families, your loved ones and America, too!!!
