As a brand, Toyota sales were down 14% in January 2010, suggesting the company’s recall problems had a meaningful sales impact.
Toyota’s problems shook up the top 10 list with the Corolla and Camry falling to 5th and 7th place. Last month they held the 2nd and 3rd places, respectively. In addition, the Accord’s rise to third place this month suggests Toyota’s losses were Honda’s gains.
