Has Obama adopted the Cloward-Piven Stategy as National Policy?
February 2, 2010 | Art in Idaho

The tsunami of spending this last year is only going to get worse. Obama recently announced a proposed budget request of $3.8 Trillion that was sent to Congress for the fiscal year that begins on October first. His budget forecasts a deficit of roughly $1.6 trillion. Obama says he plans to slash it in half by 2014 through a combination of tax increases on wealthy Americans, and cuts in domestic programs.

There was a 700% increase in spending in Obama's first year. In the next ten years, Obama will be spending 44 times the previous 10 years:

Who knows what next year’s budget will bring, and the year after. This looks like an exponential pattern to me.

Is all of this the culmination of the liberals dream of destroying our great America? A progressive plan to destroy the greatest country on earth, the bastion of Western Civilization, the cradle of capitalistic free enterprise and change it to a socialist/communist country?

Cloward and Piven outlined their theories in the 60’s. One of my favorite quotes from them: "And as Cloward and Piven made clear, the true purpose is not even to help those groups, (welfare, voting, housing and immigration) but rather to duplicitously enlist them as part of an offensive to collapse our society from within!" Great . .

"The 'Cloward-Piven Strategy' seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse." Sound familiar? . .

Alinsky: "The system's failure to "live up" to its rule book can then be used to discredit it altogether, and to replace the capitalist "rule book" with a socialist one."

. . and the topper: "To achieve their revolutionary change, Cloward and Piven sought to use a cadre of aggressive organizers helped by friendly news media to force a re-distribution of the nation's wealth." Gee, I thought he was just a community organizer. . . uh, er, No, now he’s the Organizer POTUS!

From Dick Morris: “Obama is being disingenuous when he says that the budget deficit he faced “when I walked in the door” of the White House was $1.3 trillion. He went on to say that he only increased it to $1.4 trillion in 2009 and was raising it to $1.6 trillion in 2010. Congressman Joe Wilson might have said “you lie,” but we’ll settle for “you distort.”

Here are the facts:

In 2008, Bush ran a deficit of $485 billion. By the time the fiscal year started on October 1, 2008, it had gone up by another $100 billion due to increased recession-related spending and depressed revenues. So it was about $600 billion at the start of the fiscal crisis. That was the real Bush deficit.

But when the fiscal crisis hit, Bush had to pass TARP in the final months of his presidency which cost $700 billion. Under the federal budget rules, a loan and a grant are treated the same. So the $700 billion pushed the deficit — officially — up to $1.3 trillion. But not really. The $700 billion was a short term loan. $500 billion of it has already been repaid.

So what was the real deficit Obama inherited? The $600 billion deficit Bush was running plus the $200 billion of TARP money that probably won’t be repaid (mainly AIG and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac). That totals $800 billion. That was the real deficit Obama inherited.”

It seems to me Obama is following the Cloward-Piven strategy to the T, right out of their writings. Now their mantra is to “spend our way out of this mess.”

You can get up to speed on the Cloward –Piven stategy Here Here Here Here and Here

Read these and tell me what you think. Is Obama following the Cloward-Piven rule book and is this now official White House National Policy? It sure sounds like it to me. Oh course, he will deny it, but as Krauthammer says, “It’s not what he says, it’s what he does.”

The Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) was established in 1991 by five members of the United States House of Representatives: Representatives Ron Dellums (D-CA), Lane Evans (D-IL), Peter DeFazio (D-OR), Maxine Waters (D-CA), and Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Then-Representative Bernie Sanders was the convener and first. The founding members were concerned about the economic hardship imposed by the deepening recession, the growing inequality brought about by the timidity of the Democratic Party response at the time.

Additional House representatives joined soon, including Major Owens (D-NY), Nydia Velazquez (D-NY), David Bonior (D-MI), Bob Filner (D-CA), Barney Frank (D-MA), Maurice Hinchey (D-NY), Jim McDermott (D-WA), Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Patsy Mink (D-HI), George Miller (D-CA), Pete Stark (D-CA), John Olver (D-MA), Lynn Woolsey (D-CA), and Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

It’s surreal, card carrying MARXISTS stealing our money with impunity, proudly unchallenged and in broad daylight no less.

Some heads are gonna roll.

The Kenyan marxist crypto-muslim and his comrades in Congress must be destroyed, along with the morons that vote for them.

Never forget that these RED SONS OF BITCHES are only in power because 50% of our fellow “citizens” vote for them.

The Founders were adamant about not granting the franchise to morons, women, those under 21, and non tax payers.

All of those groups have now been enfranchised via Constitutional amendment, and are the reason why MARXISTS are in control of the UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT.

THROWING THE MARXISTS OUT WITHOUT ADDRESSING THE DEMOCRAT VOTER ISSUE DOES NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM

The political opinion leaders are the very ones who most wanted to integrate into the ‘country club’ lifestyle. They really hated the rejection.

Yes, but that was back then. . They want the things I mentioned? For their kids? Why?

Thanks for the link from Prager. Interesting. That helps, but if I was a Jewish guy with a small business, I sure as hell wouldn't be voting Democratic these days. .

Cloward and Piven’s final victory came on May 20, 1993, when President Clinton signed the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 – commonly called the “Motor-Voter Act.” . When President Clinton signed the bill, Cloward and Piven stood behind him, in tacit acknowledgment of their role in formulating the new law.

I remember motor-voter but OMG I didn't know Cloward and Piven were standing behind him.

You know, I've been thinking, the whole Tea Party thing, Sarah, the Patriot sites, the recent political victories - I think this is all coming to a head because we've been aware of the gradual change in the culture, the gradual shift left in D.C., the left shift of the MSM, the schools, the damn music, the agenda and change in TV - the whole damn thing has been boiling and simmering for decades actually - conservatives were busy working and raising their families - I think Obama and his agenda was the tipping point. We've had enough and we're taking our Country back. . I hope it's not too late.

I hope it's not too late.

A populace that likes bright shiny objects, that swings wildly between left and right but the damage inflicted when the nation lurches left is never repaired, an electorate that gave the maniac algore the popular vote in 2000, elected Bill Clinton twice, and now puts a communist crypto-muslim in the White House is a populace and nation that has only darkness and despair on the horizon.

It is too late, but lets hope that in the new Republic that rises from this ones ashes, only taxpayers and veterans are entrusted to have a say on who may govern.

Look at it from the other direction and try to name one thing he has done that is beneficial to the economy. I can’t think of anything maybe someone else can.

I can't think of anything either. I don't think he's capable as his answer is spend our way out of any woes - his whole philosophy is anti-business, anti-economic recovery at the core.

So basically the Progressive Caucus and the Black Caucus - let's cut to the chase here - are all closet communists. Am I missing something here? Am I wrong?

What would McCarthy say about the Progressive Caucus and the Black Caucus? I bet he would have a fit.

Vote em' all out November 2, 2010!

In my mind, there are so many changes that need to be made - again all the damage they've done over decades - a lot of stuff supressed by the media - Did any of you see a headline in your local paper that said, READ ALL ABOUT IT, CLOWARD and PIVEN Stand behind Clinton as he signs Motor Voter!? No, you didn't. I sure didn't know until today. So back to my original thought, so many changes need to be made, how can it really happen without the R word, yes, I said it, Revolution? Especially when you see the budget graph above and Know Obama's agenda with the "big 5" coming: gun control, amnesty (more dems), cap and tax, socialized medicine, card check - not to mention much higher taxes and more government rules and regulations. . . I really don't want it to come to that, but when you think of all the radical changes that are needed IF the country is going to survive. . thinking of our kids and grandkids. . Man, I don't know. . What's the best course of action? Voting almost sounds wimpy in some respects and will be more of the same. . . Pacing and MAD as hell. .

As an aside, do you or anyone on FReep know why the Jews in America vote so heavily democratic....

You bring up a lot of important critical issues in your comments, that Yes, you would think that Jews in this country (or western Europe, or even in Israel for that matter) would have major concerns by voting for leftist, marxist-socialist, pro-Islamic ideology that wants to destroy them and wipe Israel off the map. You would think that it cause some concerns among the vast majority of Jews, and yet it does not.

I believe that Jackie Mason & David Horowitz & perhaps Dennis Prager (check WND.com for archive articles) have written on this.

IMO only, I believe that the vast majority of Jews are Jewish only from a ethnic heritage standpoint, and in reality do not believe in God at all, whether from a Jewish orthodox standpoint or from a Christian standpoint. I am a born again Christian, and I believe that God has allowed the vast majority of liberal Jews to harden their hearts and refuse to allow truth or belief to enter inside them. I believe that God has allowed the nation of Israel to be raised again, in preparation for the ultimate end times, but most Jews reject any belief in this, and therefore by default will vote for an ideology & agenda that seeks to destroy them. God will protect the inhabitants of the nation of Israel during the Great Tribulation, but only those who will flee to wilderness & deserts of Israel, in order to escape the wrath of the anti-Christ beast. God will also destroy Russia & the Arab nations from the regions of Persia, the Horn of Africa & North Africa (Ezekiel 38:1-6) as they march against Israel to destroy. The Bible says God will destroy 5/6 of these armies, and will turn them as if a giant hook was placed in their mouths to turn them back. Interestingly enough it appears that Egypt is not destroyed during the Great Tribulation, as a result (I believe) of having protected Mary, Joseph & the baby Jesus, from Herod who was killing all boys in Bethlehem region 2 yrs old & under, and allowed Mary, Joseph & baby Jesus to flee to Egypt for protection. I believe that God is honoring Egypt during the end times for having protected the Christ-child from Herod's soldiers.

In the meantime, it is tragically unfortunate that some of the most evil demoRATs (Soros, Rahm Emanuel, Schumer, Axlerod, Waxman, Feinstein, Feingold, Al Franken, etc) are of Jewish heritage and yet do everything in their power to destroy the U.S. and Israel, while upholding & protecting terrorist Islamism.

Sorry for my long rambling answer....just my opinions only.

Wow, he could say the same thing today! He was way ahead of his time. Like I say, this has been simmering for decades and I think people are saying, "Okay, enough, this is it, we're drawing the line in the sand. We're MAD as hell and we're taking our country back." The Tea Parties have made the whole process okay to talk about, to meet, to rally - I really think people we're afraid to (for various reasons) before. No More!

Until we see GOP leaders who are not afraid to do what McCarthy did, the marxists will continue to gain.

The revolution will come from the states, when Governors and state legislatures tell the red commies in DC to go to hell and secede from the union.

This is how you fix it.

Texas and maybe Louisiana secede and the marxists issue orders to bring them back.

The US Military instead rounds up the "Congressional Progressive Caucus" and puts them on a plane to Cuba.

Provisional military government for 6 months, then new elections for all congressional seats and the WH, incumbents need not apply.

Only tax paying citizens and veterans are enfranchised in the new Republic.

All amendments other than the original bill of rights are repealed.

"Dueling" legalized within the Washington DC limits.

Problem solved

It’s not a case of whether he has adopted Cloward Piven, he is Cloward Piven. The basic tennant of the strategy is to overwhelm the system/shut it down. All of their policies are following that path.

I have to admit I've been a little late to the party on this one. It's hard to comprehend that the electorate chose someone whose goal is to "fundamentaly change America" ie destroy it.

So now that it's obvious, what do we do. We're not just going to let this happen. What are our Republican congressman and senators going to do? If I'm just getting the enormity of it all, they must certainly know about it. Hey Congressman and Senators, what are you going to do? We have a President who IS Cloward-Piven!! Comprehende'? Are you just going to stand by and see our country destroyed? If you continue to stand down, we'll stand up!
