Tancredo’s 15 minutes were up when he dropped his presidential bid. Anyway, he looks too much like Dick Durbin.

*shrug* IF Barrack Husain Obama, Jr. is the spawn of Barak Hussein Obama, then he is a linear descendant of arab (muslim) slavers. Could well be of Syrian extraction for all we know. Syria/Middle East is at one end of the Roman Empire. His mother from Madelyn Payne? French(Gaul)/Irish. The other end.

Therefore 0bama traces his muslim heritage in the muslim fashion, through his father’s line to Rome, and his matrilineal (as Jews trace theirs, I wonder...) heritage to Rome as well.

Assuming, of course, that anything we know about him is accurate.

I personally think Satan has higher standards of competence, but that’s just me.

Perhaps.

OTOH, pretty much everyone who makes a deal with the devil fails.

I heard that too, so I did the research, and by golly that’s what happened.

If conservative Tanc’s 15 minutes are up, then hopefully the same applies to the worthless RINOs who ran in 2008 as well.

Well, you can go right down the list of all those who are Bible prophecy teachers in regards to there being an Antichrist and a one-world government, during the Tribulation time (that 7-year period of time before the Messiah of Israel returns to earth to set up the kingdom on earth) — and you’re not going to find a single one of them even hinting that Obama could meet up to the qualifications for the Antichrist as the Bible describes such a person.

I haven’t found a single one, anywhere.

But, what you do find is a lot of people who throw around the term “Antichrist” to mean someone that they don’t like and don’t want to see in power, accusing Obama of being the Antichrist. But usually these are not people who even bother reading the Bible, much less study prophecy regarding the end times, or even, much less believe the Bible.

For most all the ones that I’ve seen use the term “Antichrist” and “Obama” together, they don’t even believe what the Bible says about the Tribulation time or the Temple in Jerusalem or even Jesus setting up a kingdom here on earth ruling over all the nations of the world.

So, why am I going to consider someone’s opinion on the “Antichrist” who doesn’t even believe what the Bible says about the whole scenario regarding the time period that the Antichrist is in and that the Messiah of Israel comes back to defeat him?

Those who do believe that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob gave us a true and inerrant and infallible Word, the Bible, it’s going to be those teachers who study prophecy and follow the Bible that I’m going to consider listening to.

Plus the fact that I can read it myself and I can’t see Obama in anything resembling what the Antichrist is, in the Bible.

“And we’ve got “Obama” because McCain and Palin lost....”

I doubt any Republican could win in 2008. The voters started voting AGAINST Bush and Republicans in 2006 and did it again, in 2008.

Reason: Two unresolved wars and a crumbling economy, and the belief Bush was asleep at the wheel his last four years.

You were saying ...

I doubt any Republican could win in 2008. The voters started voting AGAINST Bush and Republicans in 2006 and did it again, in 2008.

And that might very well be so... that no one could have won on a GOP ticket.

But, when I see that a number of conservatives post that they did not vote for McCain, then I know that they also helped the Democrats win. And on top of that, when I see that some Freepers here say that they did not vote for McCain because McCain was not a natural born citizen, I know we've got some "crazies" in our group, too... LOL...

And maybe if all the crazies and all the other conservatives who did not vote for McCain -- had voted for him and Palin, we might not have won, anyway. But, I sure would have liked to have tried that way... :-)

While I agree with him in some ways, I wonder how he got around the ethics charge to speak there. Did it for free?

Why do you say that? Is there something you don't understand about the word "former"?

I think Tancredo’s point is well-made. The second conservative resolution now in full ascendancy would not have occurred under McCain. The Dhimmis would have dominated the dissent and many of us would have been pinned down trying to defend the undefensible. Plus, the townhall and Tea Party crowds were thick with vets and seniors, many of whom would have been uncomfortable revolting against a guy like McCain, a lib but a war hero.

“Some people are useful on issues and for stirring up people and getting some action going and political movement on a subject. For the immigration issue, I thought he was great, but I don’t think he’s going to get a lot of political support in order to move some legislation. I think that would take another kind of candidate.”

You are probably right about this.

Obama is not just a Leftist, he’s outright ANTI-American. McCain may be wrongheaded on policy but he is not outwardly against this nation nor does he see it to be the source of all evils in the world for the past 200 years.

Oh sure, I'll readily agree that McCain is better than Obama.

I just don't agree that "better than Obama" is good enough.

Tea Party should stick to fiscal issues.
They’re losing the plot.

SInce it wasn’t fiscal issues that animated them, why should they stick to it?

The Tea Party movement started out of concern over run-away spending of Congress, TARP bailouts, stimulus boondoggles, health care “reform”, etc.

SPending is only PART of the equation. Constitutionalism was and is the driving force.

That’s what all this over-spending pertains to. Congress has no Constitutional business passing most of the spending bills ... and hasn’t had for over 60 years.

We’ve finally reached the tipping point where people stand up and say NO.

Stick to that issue and the Tea Party will last.

Constitutionalism is the key, not spending. Spending is a symptom, not the disease. Case in point is the EPA making new rules on CO2 emissions. Another case in point is giving terrorists consitutional rights. Another is taxing the rich. Another is banning drilling. The list is quite extensive.

Have you been hearing a lot about Constitutionalism in the speeches at the National Tea Party Convention?

I haven’t.

Not my fault you refuse to deal in reality.

Wow, this coming from a Paulite. You know, the only candidate for Pres. that actually believes 9-11 was our fault!

The Tea Party did not originate with RP, much as he and his supporters would like to badger everyone into believing.

I know, I was at the Tax Day protest in Rapid City, SD last year, which was about 10 blocks from my house. The Tea Party Movement that is being highlighted on TV has become a money making scam for a select few insiders.
