CNN and Fox News have packed up and gone home. Youre seeing less and less about Haiti on television these days. Diane Sawyer is firmly ensconced in New York. The reporters have put away their rugged disaster coverage attire until the next big one.
There are other things that need coverage from the mainstream media today: Sarah Palin writes notes on her hand, the Oscars are coming up, there is snow in Washington D.C.
In Haiti there is still death, destruction and desperation.

Haiti was in disarray before the earthquake. The world is only feeding and promoting a race of welfare recipients and locusts with their subsequent assistance. IMO six months tops and then pull out and let them fly on their own. They have resources (oil) to pull out the country but the corruption there is so rampant that no matter what outsiders do, it will be perverted to a few.
Please - send your own money. Any bleeding hearts here - please name your state. FL has hunderds of thousands of Haitians already bankrupting Florida. We can send you some of them.

Obama leaped at politicizing this disaster to score points and contrast Bush and Katrina. Apparently now the relief efforts have turned into a world class clusterf*** and the MSN has obediantly switched off the cameras.
