He was my first choice from the beginning. He spoke truth amongst the lies. But he he was defeated by the msn. Man, we can’t let this happen again.

He would be an excellent choice. I was sorry to see him not get any traction last time.

After 3 more yrs of BO, Americans may just be ready to turn to someone like Hunter.

If you are talking about the elder Duncan Hunter, he couldn’t even beat McCain in the primaries.

A big no for Duncan Hunter.

He’s been my choice for years. I hope he can get some traction this time. He’s exactly what we need.

Hunter/Palin??

I met him and I like his views, but on a national stage he’s practically a nobody.

“If you are talking about the elder Duncan Hunter, he couldn’t even beat McCain in the primaries.”

Very good point. And the same with anyone wanting to drag any of the old horses from 2000, 2004, & 2008 out of the barn. My favorite was Fred Thompson, and I still like the man, but I would not want Fred to jump into the fray again. We need a rejuvenated GOP. Palin and Jindal are just two young hopefuls out of several that may throw their hat in.

I liked him a lot. BUT why didn’t he catch on? He appeared to be a credible candidate with a resume. He was mature, but not old. Pleasant looking enough. Pleasant voice, straight talker. Seemed comfortable in his own skin. Tough on border issues. Very Conservative. Seemed like a great candidate. (Don’t jump on me about the superficial issues, be real, it matters).

Before I could support him that question must be answered to my satisfaction. That he was too conservative wasn’t it.

Jindal is ineligible. Not a natural born citizen. But, I would love to see him run so that the issue would be brought up in the MSM.

I wouldn't have minded Fred, but he was terrible on the campaign trail. For 2012, he'll be older (bad at his age) but no better unless he's got a real plan and a bit more energy. As for Hunter, I'd like to know what he's going to do differently in 2012. I'd like to think the voters will be more skeptical of the MSM, but I doubt it. We need a candidate who can break through the media bias toward RINOs, get a message across, and build enthusiasm. So far, that's Sarah Palin, but I would love to see someone even better emerge.

Because right out of the gate the MSM and the supposed conservative media declared Rudy McRomney as the only viable options. They each had massive warchests, having planned to run for some time. And frankly, the American people, republicans included, were not demanding what they are demanding today.

Fred will not have his mother in the hospital during the campaign this time either. That said, I would rather see him get behind one of the younger conservative candidates much as Chuck Norris did with Huckabee.

I agree; Jindal is not eligible. I wish he would announce right now, so we could watch how quickly constitutional eligibility becomes of utmost importance to the communist left media.

What makes him ineligible? He was born in the states. Was it because his parents were not citizens? Just asking because I still don’t have the NBC definition clear.

Thanks

“If you are talking about the elder Duncan Hunter, he couldn’t even beat McCain in the primaries.”

NO ONE beat McCain in the primaries, thanks to ignorance and the MSM and open border shills like you.

FYI....Hunter beat McCain in the GOP circles of Arizona...McCain gets elected by LIBERALS and illegal aliens!
Which are you?

If Duncan Hunter couldn’t beat a stiff like John McCain, how the heck do you think he will win in 2012? Maybe his son is a possibility, though he certainly isn’t willing to run for U.S. Senator yet.
