Sarah Palin. Is She Smart Enough?
Self | February 10, 2010 | Ronald Dahlberg

I so sick and tired of the people saying that Sarah Palin is not ready to be President of the United States of America. She is not smart enough or she doesn’t have enough experience.

Same here, “she has a lot of baggage” is the one that drives me nuts. No matter the “dis” I hear, I simply turn it back. Does Obama have baggage (Ayres, Wright, no records) ... they made him a President! The other argument I use is ... who would vote for the things you believe in, Palin or Obama? My wife said .... “yes, but what about those children she has while she’s out running around politicking” ... and I said “and what about Obama’s children while he’s out politicking?” (She can’t say “that’s different, he’s a man, can she? :-) I’m simply comparing Sarah to Obama ... it makes an easy contrast for the nay-sayers. Maybe she will be the candidate, maybe not ... but now, when you reduce all the rhetoric to any single issue, she’s way ahead of Obama in everything she does and says.

To: She hits a grand slam tonight
"and if she can’t take the mudslinging in Alaska with a population smaller than most cities how in God’s name do you think she’ll handle the vultures in DC."

You should really research your "facts" before you spew them.

It's better to be thought a fool than open your mouth and prove it.

But, let’s face it, she does not speak well. I get nervous whenever I watch her in interviews. She might be “book smart” but she doesn’t appear to be all that thoughtful, IMHO...

Sounds like Obama is your dream candidate...how's that working out?

One has to wonder whether a legal education, especially from an Ivy League school, is nothing more than learning how to circumvent our Constitution in order to bring about a “collectivist” society.

Yup.

Jim DeMint February 9, 2010 This guys gotta run......

DeMint is tied at the hip to Mitt. The only way DeMint runs in 2012 is as Mitt's VP.

Some fact for Palin fans. Anne-Marie Slaughter is the dean of the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton. She was interviewed by Alan Johnson, for a book titled: “Global Politics After 9/11: The Democratiya Interviews.”

Here’s how the exchange begins:

Johnson: What are the central differences, and what are the elements of continuity, if any exist, between ‘the Bush doctrine’ and the ‘grand strategy of forging a world of liberty under law’?

Slaughter: Tell me what you mean by ‘The Bush Doctrine’.

Palin is no Ronald Reagan—not even in the ballpark.

Of course not, but he had 26 years more years living and learning on her by the time he became president (she's 44; he turned 70 the month after his first inauguration). She is still, though, far, FAR more like Ronald Reagan than Obama is.

“She is still, though, far, FAR more like Ronald Reagan than Obama is.”

If she will back Perry over Medina, I’m telling you now, she will make most of you sorry you voted for her. She’s just another wishy-washy, party-loving hack.

We don’t need “common sense”, hell, 36% of this country thinks socialism is A-OK, a majority voted-in Barack Hussein 0bama and his jolly band of communists—how’s that for “common sense”?

We need someone with rock-solid principles and uncompromising support for the fundamentals of individual freedom.

If a compromise is what you long for, then compare Medina’s stand on issues line by line. Make your compromise in the right direction.

Another half-*ss Republican in office can’t be that much better than the inexperienced ideologue.

I’ll take the right-wing ideologue any day.
