Confirmed: Debra Medina is a 9/11 Truther.

Six days ago, the big news out of Texas was that Tea Party activist and gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina came within the margin of error with Kay Bailey Hutchison, who barely clung to second place against incumbent Rick Perry. Today, Glenn Beck suffers heartbreak when Medina more or less cops to being a 9/11 Truther as well as a “constitutional conservative” candidate. “I think some very good questions raised have been raised in that regard,” Medina replies when Beck asks whether she believes that the American government was in any way involved in bringing down the World Trade Center towers on 9/11. Medina says she won’t take a position on a question where “good questions have been raised and haven’t been answered,” even though they have been answered for years. Beck and the others in his studio can’t quite believe their ears:

Whether supporting it herself or supporting someone who does, the woman shouldn’t hold office. But I do now understand the rapid response team for this woman that came out of nowhere. It seems to follow whenever Ron Paul or his crazy theories are involved.

I was thinking about voting for her in the primary. Now, I would vote for the DEMOCRAT if she got the GOP nomination.

I LOATHE truthers. (Some here have read why.) She can go right straight to (censored) as far as I am concerned!

Ya, Rick P. is OK by me, but then again, I’m a Mizz-u-rah man...

Yeah, me too, though currently living in No'ff Car'lina.

The question asked was in reference to the government being involved in 9-11.

She replies “I think some very good questions have been raised in that regard,”

I don't see any thing being taken out of context. Further, if she wasn't a truther, she would have found another way to word it. But she's posturing because she knows her base will through her butt to curb if she comes out as a full-blown truther. She'll have the political career of Ron Paul, a political conundrum.

Yep, looks like some people owe Sarah an apology because she was bashed by some here for endorsing Perry. She made the right decision. Besides, I like Rick, I hope he wins

I didn’t bash her, but I did wonder why she supported Perry. Now maybe I have my answer. Sheesh, and the one time I heard Medina speak she sounded so....well...not crazy.

I don't know. I know al franken, the dem senator, lol, thinks 9-11 was about Americans killing other Americans.

Seems really fruitcake like, to moi.

That said......

Yeah...there are truthers here on FR because I am one of those weird ones, according to Glenn Beck's measure, at any rate, who seriously questions barack hussein uhbama's origins. Yep. That would be me...I believe the entire episode is fraught with holes.

That would be a Birther and not a Truther. Not at all the same thing. In fact I had never heared of the term Birther until last year when the media had to coin a term to discredit the issue or discuss about the issue when trashing people questioning the facts. I called it the Birth Certificate Issue when it sprung up in 2008.

The “Birthers” are supposed to be the people who believe that Obama did not show a valid birth certificate in 2008 and a bunch of them have concluded he wasn’t born in Hawaii, but in Kenya or somewhere outside the USA.

Truthers are nuts like Alex Jones, Jesse Ventura, Al Franken, Charlie Sheen and others who feel that the government caused the 9/11 attack. They only base it on fake evidence. Created a lame movie called Loose Change which shows no credible evidence.

The “birth certificate issue” has nothing to do with the “9/11 truthers.”

But, both sides, see Glenn Beck and Keith Olbermann, have marginalized Birthers to be like Truthers.

I personally keep up with the Birth Certificate Issue, but I am not a “Birther.” I don’t yet have enough proof to be sure of anything other than Obama did not show the correct birth certificate.

But some people like a Rev. James David Manning, have made it a crusade to bash anyone who doesn’t agree 100 percent with them. But likewise, others like Bill O’Reily have made a crusade to bash people who say anything regarding the issue other than all of them are nuts.

She didn’t say she was at all....

She said that she could not confirm or deny the position (It's pleading "nolo contendere")

I was a Debra Medina supporter. I stuck my neck out for her to my family and friends. Last night, I had to send out e-mails telling everyone that I was withdrawing my support for Debra Medina for Governor of Texas.

If she can’t answer a simple question from Glenn Beck, she sure as heck can’t run the State of Texas.

G’bye Debbie; we hardly knew ya.
(Matter of fact, we didn’t know ya. Glad we found out before it was too late.)

One night about 18 months ago, after RINO Rick’s idea of selling the Texas Lotto, Toll roads, unproven drugs, yelling at a DPS LEO about stopping “him” for speeding and the “adios Mofo,” I swore an oath to God that I would never vote for him again.

So all you Perry “snipers” on this board can shoot away at me. It is my oath and I will honor it.

I will not be changed on this. Jim Rob can ban me, suspend me, that is fine. I am voting and my opinions are mine.

Evidently, on Friday she told reporters that she wondered why no policemen died when so many firemen did.

Agree with her or disagree, in all honesty what she said took lots of courage, since it will likely hurt her in the media.

So you either believe everything the government told you or you’re a truther? I believe terrorists hijacked planes into the WTC, on Osama’s orders/funding. However, I question that it’s possible the black boxes were found by someone. Does that make me a truther? I hope not!

To say something crazy does not require courage.

It only requires mental instability.

The 9-11 “truthers” are mentally unstable.
