Today was the beginning of the era of reckoning for Nancy Pelosi's claims about the CIA briefings on water boarding You may remember that Pelosi first denied being briefed about enhanced interrogation techniques, then said she was briefed but was never told they would be used, and finally she was told but didn't say anything because there was nothing she could do about it. And throughout it all, she claimed that the CIA lied to her.
For his part, Leon Panetta, Democrat, former Bill Clinton Chief of Staff, and head of the CIA, sent a letter to his troops that disputed Pelosi's accounts:

Should be a Headline of a newspaper somewhere if I was in charge.....Hopefully after the November elections Pelosi will be looking for a job like most Americans these days..or at the very least out of her leadership position.
Pelosi is stuck on stupid if she thinks she is going to get the better of the CIA.

Seems like a person that high in the line of power of our government who has been shown to lie to the American People about Intelligence matters should be removed from office.
Nothing is going to happen, just like nothing happened the first time around. Nancy will just say what she said before, “I’m done talking about it.” If the media decides the story has no legs, then it has no legs.
