I just wanted to inform you that one of the computers I have at home has COMPUTER ASSOCIATES' SECURITY CENTER installed on it as part of the package I have with my recent Internet and cable service provider -- CABLEVISION.
This is the CA SECURITY CENTER VERSION 4.0.0.205
Now, everytime I try to access FR on this computer, it blocks me with the following reason :

I have to override it by entering an administrative password to temporarily allow the FR site to go through my browser.
Out of curiosity, I tried going to the DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND site and lo and behold, the CA Parental Control software ALLOWED the site with no problems.
Just wanted you people to be aware of this double standard.
I can’t go back to comments and find the f and the s words that I have seen because I don’t remember where they are and you can’t search those. I haven’t seen those particular two used often. I have however seen a**, b****, d***, h*** used frequently on comments and sometimes in the titles of threads. I have also seen people using the f***ing with another word like c*** and switch the first letters in the words. While not being an official curse word, it is the sticking to the “letter of the law” and not the “spirit of the law” on FR. Here is one example I found when I did a search for title examples.

the woman asked Senator McCain, “How do we beat the bitch?”
McCain has no chance of beating his GOP rivals let alone the cucking funt in the other party.

You are wrong. Your post saying “not true” was in response to my comment #8 saying that there were curse words on FR. Here is it. My comment and the replies to my comment.

Depends on ones’ idea of curse words. Some people get their undies in a wad over words like “damn.”

No I have already explained that my post was only correcting an incorrect statement that there were NO curse words on FR. I didn’t say it was profanity ridden. I have seen plenty of posters using profanity. What you consider profanity is different than what I consider profanity obviously. I have seen a FEW uses of the f and the s word. I have seen numerous uses of the other words that I posted.
I would never consider FR a hate site. I love FR and in fact FR and Facebook are my main uses for the internet You have assigned motivations to me that I do not possess.
Again the curse words were in the actual titles of the threads that I linked to. One used the b word, one used d***it, one used a**, one used GD.

She’s right. Plenty of people on FR use words on FR that are still considered curse words by most of the people around.
The worst of them will be removed by the mods if someone hits the abuse button but it’s not unheard of even on FR, in spite of the fact that this little request exists on every response page....

Like I said this is not actually spelled out as a curse word. It switches the first letters of two words.
The other links that I provided have the curse words in the titles of the threads.

Okay I’ll give you that, yes you will find the occasional curse word on FR, which is the EXCEPTION, not the rule, however you must be getting DU and FR mixed up, I have never seen the ‘F’ word, the ‘S’ word, the ‘C’ word, the ‘GD word on FR on the hundreds if not thousands of threads I’ve been on. Why is that if there’s so much profanity being used on FR. I don’t consider damn and hell to be profanity. Obviously you do. ***This is a conservative site, NOT a Christian site***

BTW, I have seen the f***, S***, a**, g-d*** typed out in full on FR. I consider the word b**** a curse word.
I already did. I provided you with links to the TITLES of threads with the words a**, b****, d***. Those are the searchable words. I can’t search individual comments.
