Rep. Pete Stark, D-Calif., is taking over for Rep. Chairman Charlie Rangel, D-N.Y., as the latter eases into a questionably voluntary leave of absence from the chair of the House Ways and Means Committee under a cloud of multiple scandals.
What sort of chairman will Stark be? Try extremely thin-skinned and...to edit myself for charity, "volatile."
That is not intended to be a slur -- it's just true. Don't take my word for it. Here's a video of Stark telling a constituent...well, you have to hear it for yourself, you really won't believe it if I write it out:
In 2005, Stark shouted down former Rep. Scott McInnis, R-Colo., in a committee hearing, calling him a "fruitcake" over and over again. As The Hill recounts it, he was trying to start a fight with him.
Examiner columnist Michelle Malkin writes on her blog:
He has called a Republican opponent a c**ksucker, left a profanity-laced message on a constituents voicemail, and suggested on the floor of the House that Republicans are sending men and women to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the presidents amusement.

Stark raving mad!!!
Is Rangel out?
Did I miss something?
So why doesn’t the repub congressman punch his frigging lights out?
Having people like Fortney “Pete” Stark as our “representatives” (hah!) is tough on us native Californian conservatives! Worse, my two senators are Feinstein and Boxer, and my house rep is Barbara Lee!!
The ONLY silver lining here is that they inevitably shoot themselves in the feet time and time again, but seemingly only after they’ve done their damage. And, of course, the MSM ignores their multiple transgressions, preferring to trash only those on the right.
November just can’t come soon enough...
This is gonna be GOOD ;-)!

He requested a “leave of absence” this morning.
American Atheists California Director Dave Kong presents the 2002 First Amendment award to Congressman Pete Stark for his commitment to maintaining the separation between religion and government.
I don’t really know anything about Stark. Never looked into it. But I’m sure he’s a loon. Damn near everyone in today’s demonRat party is.
There’s nothing wrong with Stark...as long as you understand how INCREDIBLY important he is!!!
