He is the real deal unlike to the pretender that’s in office today. He knows his stuff and he is not an affirmative action teleprompter baby like the president. He is everything that Barry Hussein Soetoro is pretending to be. In this interview with Chris Matthews, on Hardball, Chris stopped just short of getting a tingle up his leg. (see 8:10min video)
Congressman Ryan has said that he will not run for President in 2012. Republicans should quit the “I’m next” tradition that allowed Senator John McCain to become the failed Republican nominee in 2008. One would have thought Republicans would have learned their lesson after nominating the “I’m next” Sen. Bob Dole in 1996.
If Republicans had any sense and if the GOP and Michael Steele had the any political foresight they would drift this young Kennedyesque Politician who has his finger on just what the problems are in our economy.

I could not agree more - think he would be great - I love Sarah Palin but if given the choice I would back Ryan for pres.

Who would you propose? ....................... “Any candidate” the MSM tears apart, the one who gets all the vitriol. That’s the one they fear the most. If they are for a candidate, it usually means they are the target for their anticipated landslide win. (Like payback back for Mondale.)

Matthews viscerally hates Sarah Palin. Destructive tactics seem to work against her.
But, in Paul Ryan’s case, it is clear to everyone that visceral hatred is impossible to use against the man.
Therefore, how to rid the Left of a potential Ryan candidacy? Easy. Praise him, at least to a certain extent. Favorable commentary; at the least, or no vicious attacks.
Then Conservatives become suspicious of Ryan and X him out.
Matthews and the Left would be high-fiving each other.
I would like to see Ryan run for Senate against Feingold this year, but he won’t do it.
Too young, too green. Plus, he knows next to nothing about National Security. In another 8 or 12 years, he may be ready.
Again you need to avoid the simplistic reasoning that would cause the kneejerk react to someone you perceive has something that is attractive to everyone.
No one is going to get elected that the Liberal Biased Media tears apart. Think about it.

I noticed that you didn’t propose anyone!................It isn’t 2012 yet, waiting to see where all the talent is first. I like Col Alan B.West, but I don’t see him running for Pres. when he has enough problems trying to get elected to Congress. Any man who states that he “would go to hell with a gas can for his troops”, is my kind of candidate. I’d take him over any candidate with a law degree.
