One step away from the Mark of the Beast

The judgment of this guy is just absolutely astounding.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Lindsey Graham is working on some new legislation: All legal U.S. workers, including citizens and immigrants, would be issued an ID card with embedded information.

Why not just go for the required embedding into the hands and forehead Lindsey? Anyone with even a morsel of sense could see that's where you're going!

Good Lord, these RINOs are as stupid as they are incompetent. That's actually paying Lindsey a -compliment- because if he isn't incompetent, he is diabolical.

This just confirms that these RINOs MUST go. Lindsey's buddy John McCain is a good start.

I saw that today, what is he thinking??? Or is he thinking? I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Does he not read the bible? And even if it weren’t in the bible, the government is already way to intrusive. They keep it up, this country is going to look more like the old USSR on steroids.

How would this be so different than a Social Security card or drivers license? Sounds like an attempt to keep illegal immigrants from working and voting in this country.

OK,, your on a roll... it would be easier and cheaper to just close the border.

BUT! instead, lets start a NEW government program to issue LEGAL USSA citizens "special" id cards. Think about it.

If you take the time to google chip inplant and healthcare bill, I think you will be amazed with what you find.

Also, the reason they did away with analog TV was the transmitters in the healthcare bill are analog, so they can track everyone 24/7, also the ID cards would be trackable.

Once you carry a card that essentially tracks your every move, the potential for abuse is boundless. I draw your attention to the present administration, with Big Sis running Homeland Security and claiming all of us with military or federal LEo experience are potential terrorists....no. Nice try, but no.

More than half the illegal immigrants in the U.S. did not enter illegally; they came in legally (usually on tourist visas) and never left. Unless you want to destroy the hotel/resort industry, you cannot just "close the border." If you really want to stop illegal immigration, you need foolproof ID.

tools already available:

Official Government Employment Eligibility Verification Tools such as E-Verify and Social Security Number Verification Service (SSNVS) are usually used after an employee has been hired to meet government requirements to verify that employee names and Social Security numbers match Social Security Administration (SSA) records.

I guess it would depend on the information coded about me on the card but mabe I just don’t understand. You seem to feel so strongly about it and it doesn’t sound like that big of a deal to me. IMHO, Big Brother has been aroung for quite a while now and I think they can already find out anything about me, or any other normal citizen they want.

The Mark of the Beast

Revelations 13.16
He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his
right hand or on his forehead,

13.17 so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.

13.18 This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number.
His number is 666.

uhhhh, Sheriff Joe seems to do a pretty good job.

Very simply, enforce the laws & close the border! (although liberals & RINOS continue to place high efforts to stop this common sense approach)

I take it you have no problem with amnesty for 40 million new rat voters/socialists and a permanent majority for the Chicago Alinsky Communist Party?

RINOS are so freakin' stupid!

Sorry, this is not the mark of the Beast. It’s already happened: Section 666 of Title 42 (the Social Security Act) (42 USC Sec. 666) — requires every state, as a condition of Federal Revenue Sharing, to obtain “the number of your name” before you can receive any state services (e.g., a license to work, a license to drive, a license to marry).

That’s why you had to provide proof of social security number when you applied or renewed your drivers licence.

That absolutely would never be needed for voting. No! No! No! That would far, far, far, too inconvenient, for sure! /s.

That is the ultimate irony, we can't even force ID use for voting and they want ME to carry a national ID?

I can see a lot of ways this would be abused. For one thing, I can see being tracked in a database for taxation among all kinds of places that at present don't know I pass through while being paid.

They could require you to officially log into the national database at airports, train stations, turnpike gates, state borders, etc. At the end of the year, you get a bill from Ohio because you drove through on business from PA to IN every Thursday and Friday. It took you 3 hours and you were paid. In addition, you were speeding, so pay that too. The possibilities for abuse a national ID are endless.

How long before the National ID is issued and they get rid of paper money? Everyone would have to use the card to pay for goods and services. You couldn't pay your neighbor for a hammer you bought at his garage sale without the government knowing it.

Make fun of me if you want, but National ID, taxation, and electronic (paperless and coinless) money go together and will be coming.

No, it will do just the opposite. The ID will be part of an amnesty. When you need an ID to work, the answer to cheap labor is get more illegal aliens. And these politicians aren’t going to stop the greedy society we’ve allowed to be created.
And until the border is secured and deportation is applied as the law says, you’re going to have them. By the millions and why not? We’ll be saying to them ‘we will never make you leave’. And the cycle starts over. With even greater numbers of more needy, socialist, democrat voters.

We haven’t tried. Not in the last 50 years. Gotta agree with you (see my post #40). I think term limits would be a great start. Even though I believe most people who seek office have good intentions at first, the longer they stay in Washington, the more corrupt, greedy and self-serving they become. The place is a snake pit and the older snakes are calling the shots.

Good legislators can run for another office if we want to keep them.
