I’m fine with the best person for the job. What needs to be lost is all the leftover “patriarchal” attitudes that would otherwise be condemned, but remain because they’re favorable to women. Divorce law and child custody spring immediately to mind. You want equality, advocate equal treatment under the law. Looks like a pure money grab, otherwise.

I think people are beginning to have the realization dawn upon them, that the old “patriarchy” wasn’t so bad as it was painted to be, though. The wheels have come off of so many things.
