In New Low, Democrats Exploit 11-year-old Boy Whose Mother Died to Push Health Care Reform

In what can only be described as a new low, Democrats are actively exploiting an 11-year-old boy whose mother died after losing her insurance to push health care reform. In a grandstanding press conference yesterday organized by the Senate Democrat "Leadership" (that would be Harry "Out of work husbands beat their wives" Reid), 11-year-old Marcelas Owens was trotted out before cameras and made to give a puppy dog-eyed appeal to Americans everywhere to just let "Barack Obama and Congress and everybody...come together and...help get the health care bill passed." Aside from the fact that he was trotted out like a little Democrat/Universal Health care mascot, this was clearly exploitation of him and his emotional situation by the Democrats and his left-wing grandmother who was at the conference with him. Additionally, it is not certain at all that his mother would've survived if she wouldn't have lost her insurance!

The ultimate use of a ‘prop’, and ZerO dared to accuse the republicans of using the 2700 page bill as a prop at the idiotic summit.

Sickos will stop at nothing.

“Additionally, it is not certain at all that his mother would’ve survived if she wouldn’t have lost her insurance!”

***

Precisely. Medicine has made great strides over the years, but sometimes even the best medical care fails. How far along was her disease? If I were sick, I’d move heaven and earth to get care. Did she try Medicaid? Did she contact the society or association affiliated with her disease (e.g., American Cancer Society) to get some help?

Something fishy about this story, or certain details are being withheld, all in an effort to propagandize a so-called health care plan that most people know is bogus.

Not the best move they’ve made lately to promote their agenda.

In even the best systems you can find a terrible story to exploit.

My favorite rallies so far have been the cancer survivors who survived under our great health care system. I wonder how many legitimate ‘sob’ stories we could trot of Europe?

Considering this extensive study, I would say quite a few.
Here is quite an informative and interesting study from Arduino Verdecchia, PhD, from the National Center for Epidemiology, Health Surveillance, and Promotion, in Rome, Italy. It was conducted between 2000 and 2002 between 21 countries and 6.7 million cancer patients.

The 5 year survival rate for all cancers combined was 47.3% for men and 55.8% for women in Europe and 66.3% for men and 62.9% for women (US Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) program).

The greatest differences were seen in the major cancer sites:

Colon and Rectum (56.2% in Europe vs 65.5% in the United States)

Breast (79.0% vs 90.1%)

Prostate Cancer (77.5% vs 99.3%)

The study comments the numbers “probably represents differences in the timeliness of diagnosis.”

These damn Democrats use these sob stories to hide the fact that in the long run more people are saved because of our healthcare system’s ingenuity and flexibility.

I saw it. My husband and I laughed. These sob story anecdotes nearly always turn out to be hoaxes and the “victim” standing before the camera is a relative of a staffer or somebody connected to the inner sanctum in some way.

These rats are so corrupt and such liars that they have absolutely ZERO credibility. Nothing they san can be believed. Oh, there may abe a truth here or there, but when they’re pushing something, there are no holds barred nor any level they would not sink to to get their way. ANY means to an ends. As such, the means have no credibility just by the fact that the means are irrelevant to the process, as they see it.

“In New Low, Democrats Exploit 11-year-old Boy”

Can the Democrats sink any lower though?
Heck, they are already so low, even a snake can slither over them, and still have room for a top hat.

If the Democrats REALLY cared, they would pass a House rule stating that the boy’s mother is still alive.

Except to the dependent class that they have created over the past 60 odd years to insure their perpetual re-election. These folks now approach 50% of the population and are primarily responsible for the Marxists we have in in the White House and Congress. To those welfare brood mares this stuff is Gospel.....

You are correct, but I was speaking of the moderates, the right and the independents, not the gullible morons living on the plantation buying all this hip, black jive ass rhetoric from those seeking “social justice.”

Is this what it's come to? Blaming deaths on the battle. Well okay. Is Nancy Pelosi killing people?

The Senate passed its version of the bill just before Christmas 11 weeks ago. The House of Representatives has not put it on its calendar for a vote - yet. We've been told that 45,000 people die each year for lack of health insurance. Speaker Pelosi is the only one who can schedule this vote.

Speaker Pelosi is personally responsible for some 9,500 deaths directly through her inaction. But even worse, she is planning to take the House on a two-week vacation without voting. 865 people will die each week while waiting for Nancy to act. But her vacation is more important than their lives.

WHY IS NANCY PELOSI WILLING TO SACRIFICE THESE PEOPLES' LIVES?

Defeat Obamacare call list: List now contains the new MAYBES culled from FR posts.
PLEASE CALL! DC OFFICE LOCAL OFFICE State District

Code Red” - House Target List on Health Care

The National Republican Congressional Committee has published a target list on health care. In addition to continuing to contact the five Tennessee Democrat Congressmen, you can go http://www.votervoice.net/link/clickthrough/ext/94697.aspx to contact some of these targets. Much of the talk following Obama’s announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the “fixer” bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Thursday, March 18th.
