Israel is the heart of the Jewish people, Jerusalem is the heart of Israel and the Temple mount is the Heart of Jerusalem. I can offer absolute proof that is true.
Thanks to the President over-reaction to new Israeli housing units in Jerusalem, today there were protests throughout the city, due to false charges about Israel trying to “Judaicise” the area around the Aqsa Mosque in which sits upon the Temple Mount Jerusalem. Now Hamas is spreading the rumor that Israel had tried to burn down the Mosque in 1969 (which would have been against Jewish Law).
I have even read with curiosity how European Foreign Ministers and press reporter’s with Christian backgrounds describe the site as “what the Jewish people SAY was the location of the Holy Temples. I wonder when those folks go to church on Sunday do they argue with their Priests and Ministers to change the Gospels? After-all the man that they believe is the son of God went to that Temple Mount and visited that Temple 3x a year.

Thanks Shelly I really enjoyed reading that post. As the Glory of G_d once resided in that place it is of no surprise to me that their would still be a residual effect on someone with faith.

Obama is a walking disaster area. He offends and alienates everyone he comes into contact with, with the exception of other socialists and jihadists. I wish there was a way to have a national referendum and boot him out.
