I worked for Reagan when he first ran for Gov.

I have confronted many times large numbers of Code Pinkos, the same org. Kokesh is associated with.

Have countered many huge anti war loons just like Kokesh

These people spit out the words sounding like a reasonable
person when they are tools of the left.

I have followed in depth politics and world affairs since
before 1960.

Your type is typical of the no nothing, keyboard commandos

Geeezz!

Antiwar nuts in New Mexico and Libertarians in Connecticut............

Surprise!=NO

If we are talking about the financial Schiff dude, I have heard his opinions many times. He is a die hard Libertarian fiscally but they run as Repubs. I have not heard him speak to any other issue. I have no idea what he knows or cares about except money and precious metals. I would be OK with him if there was no other choices over a liberal, but a moderate repub is a better hand then a Big L Libertarian when there is strategic US interests at stake.

As to the weenie in NM, he needs to take a hard shower of the kind we used to give to people who refused to bathe when I was in the Army..

Congressman's argument that killing civilians in foreign lands leads to an increase in terrorism is lost on you

That's a load of crap.

These Muslim and Commie governments are all F'd up and stay that way. The only way their regimes, be they theocratic, or King Ruler deal with the public anger is to direct it away from the crap government and against something they can't see.......Like the U.S. or GB.

They do this regardless of our entanglement or not. It matters not because eventually they will create a reason or two or three to use to foment more anger.

Ron Paul is just wrong, but we all figured that out when we ran all his predecessors out of positions of power in the party decades ago. We refused to give Buchanan a vote and we still reject any of the crap they constantly spew as true conservative dogma.

Kokesh is very bad and I wonder if the former Steven Schiff of NM is related to this Peter Schiff.

If so, then it is like the Salazar brothers in NM and CO. It’s like Richardson and so many others who move to a state they want to win and don’t run to serve the citizens who are from there but run to gain control.

Thanks for your posts on all this important info for NM.

I’m with you, RaceBannon. I run into too many that don’t seem to know the difference between conservative and libertarian. People like RP, Kokesh, and probably Schiff and RP’s son running for office in Kentucky, remind me of the German commercial raiders in WW2. They were ships operated under false pretenses, under a false flag.

I don’t trust these libertarians, Glenn Beck included. They may prove to be more destructive, in the long run, to the Conservative cause than the Dems themselves.

I am lkosing friends in the CT Tea Party movement over this

so be it!

I choose patriotism, not treason supporting Ron Paul Acolytes.

Schiff may honestly not know about Kokesh, but a simple GOOGLE search confirms they have been hooked together on websites for over a year

Google Schiff + Kokesh
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&aq=1h&oq=&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4GGIC_enUS220US220&q=schiff+%2b+kokesh

Click on the videos, too, there are TONS of videos that link them together

Thanks for the warnings about Peter Schiff... interesting.

To be honest, I doubt Schiff or even Rob Simmons have much of a chance. So far it looks to me like Linda McMahon is going to buy her way into the GOP Senate candidate slot. We're being inundated with slick brochures from her campaign almost weekly, and I'm sure you've seen/heard the TV and radio ads. I've never seen anything like this in my life here in CT!

Doesn't mean she'll get my vote, though...

Honestly, that makes me glad that I'm still registered as a Democrat here. I get to vote against Blumie twice!

Once in the primaries where I'll vote for Merrick Alpert (not because I want him to win), and then again in the general elections.

My husband (who is definitely conservative) does the same thing. He got a big kick out of voting for Al Sharpton for President in the primaries a few years ago... LOL

I doubt if they are related. Schiff is a fairly common Jewish name; more so back east than NM I expect.

Steve Schiff was a well-respected conservative Republican representative from NM District 1. While in office, he died of an aggressive skin cancer in 1998 at the young age of 51.
