NPR: ‘Patriots’ Are Dangerous to Our Government

Public supported National Public Radio (NPR) posted a report on March 17 during its "All Things Considered" radio show that warns its listeners that "patriot groups" are dangerous and are apparently increasingly prone to attacking government officials and facilities. Oddly the two examples it uses to prove its case have no ties whatsoever to any "patriot groups."

Headlined, "Hostility Against Federal Workers Troubles Officials," NPR blames "patriot groups" on these attacks and worries that "anti-government hate groups" are on the "upsurge." And what does NPR use to prove its case? Nothing but the say so the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center and a misconstruction of two recent attacks on government facilities by disturbed individuals.

NPR ominously begins its report with this...

Same thing with that Tennesse census worker death —they swore up and down that it was a case of murder against “a fed”. That was verrry convenient —the old homo had simply offed himself, and there was some insurance fraud angle to the incident...

IF they considered "all" things, they would have been outraged when Code Pink repeatedly manufactured or otherwise obtained creditentials to get near Republicans in the Bush Administration (and the GOP convention) to handcuff themselves to Republicans or otherwise wreck havoc (like interrupting McCain's acceptance speech).

Nina Totenberg wished AIDS on Jesse Helms "or one of his grandchildren".

Pravda Media at its wurst.

Remember, people, NPR is floated by OUR tax money!

One of the first things the new Republican congress should do, is to CUT OFF all public funding to this propaganda mouthpiece of 0bozo and the Democratic Party. At a time of $1.6 trillion annual budget deficits, the last thing we should be spending our tax dolars on, is a rabid outfit like NPR.

NPR = Government Owned Media = Direct Threat to Liberty and the Bill Of Rights.

Put this on the list of things that need to go bye bye after we sweep the house and senate in Nov.

I actually want Pelosi to get reelected so that we can then proceed with impeachment. It should be a quick proceeding because we should just “DEEM” her guilty and move on to the sentencing phase.

All in favor say...

A simple observation

When 47 percent disapprove of Obama and 46 percent approve and the disapproval rating is growing, this constitutes a majority.

So its not “tea party”, its not patriots, its not fringe groups or hate groups.... its America speaking.

Well, they do have a point. We are about the only threat there is to the fascist dictatorship the liberals and DEEM-ocrats want to construct on top of the ashes of the Constitution. But for us, this country would be a socialist dystopia already.

By definition, only patriots are a threat to fascists and totalitarians who would seize power.

Here are some more real patriots who were considered to be, and in fact were, a deadly danger to the then-ruling government of the day:

God bless dangerous patriots.

I actually want Pelosi to get reelected so that we can then proceed with impeachment.

A congressperson cannot be impeached, only a member of the judicial or executive branches.

She can be expelled by a vote of 2/3 of her chamber, of course.

When the SHTF, NPR HQ should be high on the target list! So they can say "see, I told you so".

Unlike talk radio you can't just call and get on the air, you have to be screened.
You can e-mail but they screen them too.
Most shows are taped. Another screening tactic.
Now, that's government radio.

Patriots are essential for a free America. If they’re a danger to the current government, that’s more a reflection of the flaws with socialism than of any flaws with patriotic Americans. Our country is lucky to have them, whether or not the government we’re stuck with agrees.

Sirs, I want to make a comment about your radio show I was listening to on March 17, 2010. On All things Considered, the radio show was called “Hostility Against Federal Workers Troubles Officials.” Your comments blamed “patriot groups” as dangerous and apparently increasingly prone to attacking government officials and facilities. The two examples you described to prove your case have no ties whatsoever to any “patriot groups.” Where did you get your flawed information? The two people Joe Stack and John Bedell had no ties to any tea party group, or a “patriot” group, or any other right-wing groups. In fact, Bedell was an anti-war protester, smoked marijuana, and was a registered Democrat! Now a few words about the “expert” advice you got from the Southern Poverty Law Center. One of their employess, Chip Berlet is actually an extremist, left-wing associate (like anti-American billionaire financier George Soros) and is a member of a far left organization “the Socialist Workers Party”. Now, do I need to explain about the Socialist Worker Party? Maybe NPR got everone mixed up. The people at the Southern Poverty Law Center seem to be the ones who are dangerous? Lastly, if NPR turns to a Socialist group for advice and as an unbiased news source, why are my tax dollars going to NPR? You guys aren’t very smart, are you?
