Read the stories of how G-d rescued His people, over and over again. He is full of love and mercy and doesn't want to judge. But, make no mistake this country is coming under judgement. How bad that will be, depends on us. We can cut it off short, if we just do a few things.
Study the old testament stories. Of Joel, Hosea, ect. These are wonderful guides. They show how often G-d rescued Israel. And G-d is no respecter of persons, what He will do for one, He will do for another.
Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said , Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons
Remember these things, don't rely on your feelings. But, believe the word of G-d. You can't always help the way you feel.
The battle starts in your thoughts, I learned how to do this by practice and by asking the Holy Spirit for help. Stop the thoughts of anything that isn't of G-d as soon as they come into your mind. Those are always negative thoughts. I'm not saying replace them with happy thoughts either. Read the word, get it into your spirit and get to know G-d. Don't look at the circumstances, keep your focus on G-d who can do anything. Studying the word will give the Holy Spirit something to bring to your remembrance. It takes practice to do this but, it works if you rely on the Holy Spirit for help and ask Him for peace. I will no longer allow someone or something to steal my peace but, I can't work that up on my own, neither can you. Ask the Holy Spirit for help in everything, that's why He was sent to us.
2 Corinthians 10:5 casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;
It's time to put on sackcloth, and fast, pray and petition G-d, in faith.
Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
THANK YOU!!!!!!
Thanks for this.
You are so welcome!!! G-d is so good, and He loves this country so much. And His heart is grieving. I felt lead to post this for anyone who needs it and also, I needed to hear this too.
I know who God is. I’m not sure of who G_d is though. Either we can call God by His name or we can’t. I choose to call Him by His name.
Those of us fighting alongside of G-d are allowed to be tired also, I hope. At least we have a Friend at our side to pour our heart out to and receive solace.
I agree with the title in principle, but my thoughts go to my sig, which is over a year old.
>>Either we can call God by His name or we cant. I choose to call Him by His name.<<
YHWH
Hold it - Christ Himself grew weary and even scared as He went through His travails.
It’s a natural human emotion, and if the Lord suffered through it, then I’m not going to knock myself if I’m hurting, too.
Isiah 40:31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
I think the apostles were pretty tired after Jesus was taken into captivity.
Complete spelling, please.
G-d=God. The Jewish tradition would never print G-d’s name out of respect and reverence for G-d. It’s out of respect for the Jewish people that I do this. I don’t always do it, but, wanted to for this, for any of them who might come to this post, who wanted to join in with fasting and prayer.
I think that is GOD as in GOD BLESS AMERICA.
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Isaiah 5:20
The promise to the Dims.
I’m tired but touching up the edge of my sword.
I agree with that. We so need unity and each other. I posted this to help and encourage.
I see that as Christ becoming more understanding to our plight as humans. I don't of course understand why Christ would have chosen to do things this way, as He is the beginning and the end, but that's how He chose to do things.
After Christ had talked it over with God, His strength was renewed, and He undertook His mission to save us all.
I truly feel as if God has abandoned America but I guess we deserve it after kicking God out of America. Reap what you sow.
Why do people who otherwise mean well use such silliness as G-d or G_d? God. That’s it. God. Does anyone really think that God will strike down someone who prints His name? Does any Christian actually think it’s blasphemy to use His name? Do we write out J-s-s or some such nonsense?
GOD bless you.
Thank you. Cannot help but eyeroll whenever tI see that insipid dash.
If you knew or had any knowledge of Jewish tradition instead of jumping down my throat you’d understand. We are to love one another, not rip each other apart. I did it out of respect for them.
I do understand Jewish tradition and even studied Hebrew a long time ago. My statement stands.
So according to you my respect is stupid?
Exactly. God already knows our true intentions when we invoke His name. None of us mean any disrespect when we address Him the way we do.
Thank you!!!
Great post! Thanks! Also, patriots have been battling this evil so long and so hard, they need to take care of themselves and take breaks from it and they will be refreshed to deal with the new challenges we will face. Running so hard with no break can bring burnout. More patriots will join us day by day to lift the burden and help as time passes.
I have to agree with SoldierDad. In my world I know, love, and worship God. G_d is who? Respectfully using the sacred name is appropriate.
You are wrong about God leaving America, certainly however, much of America has left God. But those that are trying to do the right thing for the right reason are not going to be abandoned by God. Is our country in great peril? Absolutely. What can we do? As much we can, knowing we are fighting against great odds. But we still try. You and me and others like us. While this is not the most encouraging thought, those that are trying to do the right thing for the right reason can and must do what we can in our individual own backyards. In the final count when we meet our Lord, that is what is going to count individually. Hang in there. There are alot of others trying too.
Hebrews Chapter 11 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. 3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. 4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. 5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, "and was not found, because God had taken him"; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. 7 By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. 8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; 10 for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. 11 By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude--innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore. 13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14 For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. 15 And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them. 17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18 of whom it was said, "In Isaac your seed shall be called," 19 concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense. 20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. 21 By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff. 22 By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel, and gave instructions concerning his bones. 23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king's command. 24 By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, 25 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, 26 esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward. 27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them. 29 By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned. 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. 31 By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace. 32 And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: 33 who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again. And others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. 36 Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment. 37 They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented-- 38 of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth. 39 And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, 40 God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us. Hebrews Chapter 12 1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.
To clarify here (and, so avoid further confustion) the eye roll is in reference to using the dash (as in, G-D) as opposed to spelling out God. The eye roll was not directed at the sacredness of our Lord.
According to me, printing G-d or G_d or whatever is silly. The Bible uses God. I would expect that anyone reading your posts, or any other, who is Jewish would respect the Christian tradition. You do what you want; I will not change my opinion, nor, I expect, will you. That will not keep me, nor others, from commenting as we did. I see it as a symptom of the whole malady afflicting us.
I will keep fighting, however. I learned as a Ranger in the Army that a soldier is still effective even when bone tired, cold, wet, and hungry. That taught me a thing or two about perseverance. Remain strong and keep the faith.
No, I am not weary from fighting without God. Even Jesus got tired from time to time; the apostles became weary from the sorrow of it all. A lesser man can hope to do no better.
