The fact is: J.D. Hayworth himself has benefitted from the momentum largely initiated by Sarah Palin.
So basically, Palin helping McCain makes that race national news, thus, giving JD a lot more exposure?

Her message, her communication of the message, and her savvy in bringing that message to the public —has allowed for her to play a huge part in legitimizing the contested primaries going on all over the country. She was the most high-profile politician to start the trend by endorsing Doug Hoffman over Dede Scozzafava in the NY-23.

I respect John McCain for his service to our country and his enormous personal sacrifice.
I just don’t want him making laws in my country.
IMHO, he has earned a nice peaceful retirement on some beach, far, far, far away from any cameras, reporters, or legislation.

Not being an Arizonan, I, too, can’t vote for either of them. However, I am supporting Hayworth with my contributions because there is a clear choice between the two.
An amnesty will be at least as devastating to this country as Obummer DeathCare will be. It impresses me when I see Hayworth forthrightly working against amnesty and McPain supporting it (not openly during his reelection season, of course).
There’s a clear choice here—any conservative should be able to see that.
As for Palin: my mind is open on any future run for office she might decide to make but, should that office be the presidency, she has not yet convinced me she is the candidate for conservatives. I will see what positions she stakes out and who she supports for other offices.

I am not saying people have to VOTE for John McCain. What I am saying is, "underdog" Tea Party sympathetic candidates such as Hayworth, Rand Paul, etc... have largely benefitted from the momentum Governor Palin has initiated. By lending her name to the Tea Party movement and for being so vocal about her encouragement of contested primaries--we all benefit as a whole.

Regardless of what his intentions were and are, he did make the final decision to choose Palin, and our country is better off for it.
