The Obama Curse Continues, Claims Two More Victims

I’ve brought you this story before. President Barack Obama seems to have the kiss of death for those he supports, including college basketball teams. Well, that curse seems to be alive and well in this year’s NCAA March Madness.

Saturday night, the final two teams Obama had in his ESPN Final Four bracket lost in stunning upsets. Number one seed Kentucky was downed by West Virginia 73 – 66, and Kansas State was eliminated by the Cinderella of the tourney, Butler, as the little school that could knocked off the Wildcats 63 – 56. Losses by Kentucky and K-State mean that all four of Obama’s picks for the Final Four have now lost. Kansas and Villanova, his other two picks, were eliminated in the second round.

According to ESPN, this puts Obama’s bracket at number 1,154,792 on the overall leader-board.

At this rate, don’t look for President Obama to be throwing out any first pitches come baseball season. Teams won’t want his bad mojo in their ballpark, and really, who can blame them?

Poor Obummer he put the curse on four great teams and they lost. Obummer is the kiss of death. I was sad when my Kansas team went down last week but I predicted that evening that all of Obummer's picks would lose. Well I right.

After his girly display at the '09 All-Star game, I doubt we'll be seeing him embarrass himself in public (in a sports context, at least) ever again. But then again, as deluded as he is, one never knows.

I feel so pathetic because I actually cheered for his picks to lose.

His and the overwhelming majority of everyone else in the country. All this shows is that Obama's no better at picking winners than I am.
