First of all, Obama was and still is a Socialist. If he wishes to use the term "Progressive," it means the same damn thing!

The New Party was a radical left organization, established in 1992, to amalgamate far left groups and push the United States into socialism by forcing the Democratic Party to the left. It was an attempt to regroup the forces on the left in a new strategy to take power, burrowing from within. The party only lasted until 1998, when its strategy of “fusion” failed to withstand a Supreme Court ruling. But dissolving the party didn’t stop the membership, including Barack Obama, from continuing to move the Democrats leftward with spectacular success. (American Thinker, October 08, 2008).

Second of all, likely a majority of Tea Party Conservatives do NOT doubt Obama’s status as a US Citizen via his mother (some argue that point as well).

It’s his status as a NATURAL BORN Citizen that’s in question, as required per Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the US Constitution. The office of POTUS is the ONLY office that has such a requirement, because there are NO Internal "Checks and Balances" in the Executive Branch.

And the most notable thing about this interview is that Obama himself continues to hinge the argument on him being a CITIZEN versus a NATURAL BORN Citizen.

More and more it’s obvious that seemingly accidental gaffs from the Constitutional Law Professor are actually Alinsky-type purposeful misdirection from what could truly bring his presidency down.

You'd have to be blind not to see this coming. Look for birthers, and fringe candidates pandering to them, to be highlighted more and more by the media. The strategy has already been framed as a campaign weapon by the Dems, to lure independents away from what will be portrayed as "crazies."

The conspiracy theorists will be painted as both the "core" of the Tea Parties and embraced by the Republican Party, unless both groups make a consistent effort to distance themselves.

I have always suspected there is something in that BC, he does not want anyone to see. I suspect the father is not listed. I also suspect he does not want his school records released or we will find out he was a foreign student or an affirmative action student with less than stellar grades. That makes it impossible to glance at someone without looking down your nose at them — a very clear signal for superiority effectation. The person who uses a chin lift is trying to communicate that they have the upper hand in the situation. The chin lift is the ultimate smug gesture.

Perhaps, we should all keep watch on Obama and when that chin goes up — be a bit concerned — because Obama is telling us something. Obama is telling us, without saying a word, that he is in a situation out of his comfort base, he is “pretending” lifting his chin in a mock show of confidence. And that’s when we should be vewwwwy worried. Body language that sends secret signals to America is one thing; but the world is watching.”
