The government may monitor an individuals finances and medical records electronically, for the purposes of determining an individuals eligibility for certain programs under the bill. They may also monitor an individuals finances and medical records to ascertain whether that individual has health insurance and is making regular premium payments to an approved health insurance plan; this will allow the federal government to determine each individuals financial responsibilities with respect to penalties and fees prior to or at the point of care as outlined in the bill.

I think this particular is mentioned on page 89 of the PDF off senate.gov, but I’m not postive.

But to answer your question, the fed gov’t will have the right to initiate an electronic funds withdrawal from your checking and/or savings account if they believe you haven’t paid your fair share for x, y or z.

It says so in the PDF, in black and white, clear as day.

That’s why 0 wants to give everyone “free” high-speed internet access. It’s easier to steal $$$$ from the people if they do all (or most) of their financial transactions online.

My uncle decided one day he wanted a big screen TV. He went and got some money out of the wall and went to Best Buy and bought one. They accept cash.

So do the property tax collectors. and the utility companies.

I am thinking a lot of self employed and small business owners and entrepreneurs have a cash box on hand-

Govt as a co-signer on your bank accounts may make the practice even more widespread. Those bank accounts could stay open but “shrink” a bit, eh?

King Obama, his Administration, and his Communists Party (formally the Democratic Party) knew exactly what they were doing. That is to convert America to a dictatorship. Anyone that doubts it is either stupid or in a trance.

Probably about all you can do is leave enough in for bills and take the rest in cash so they can’t track what you buy or where you go to spend the little you have left.

I am sure they will check what bars you go to. Whether you buy booze, cigarettes etc, then they will punish you on healthcare.

I tell ya, these people have to go and soon.

“The world has changed from the depression era. How do you pay bills, pay property taxes, utility bills etc without a checking account?”

I have known bible college students to use money orders, I think that is the term, the ones you get at a grocery store. It is a pain, but it is possible to do without a bank. Personally, I would keep the checking with minimal funds in it and do something with savings accounts. But if the gov is able to take funds at will, this nation is not long anyway.

So do the property tax collectors [take cash].

Last time I did that they insisted they wouldn't. They insisted I could make the payment at a private bank nearby; I refused to route my tax payment through a private company whom I had not consented to dealing with. "You're demanding payment, here's my payment, now take it or I risk losing my house for non-payment." Took a lot of ranting on my part for them to consent to accepting tax payment in cash, and they threatened to charge me for counting it.

It's also a violation of the fourth amendment to the US Constitution. Of course, the democRATS hate that document since it limits government's power.

They didn’t have a problem with someone paying in cash insofar as the actual handling thereof was done by a subcontracted private entity for that purpose.

I pointed out they could either take payment or issue me a letter saying they refused payment.
