Obamacare: The National Health ID Card
Liberty and Pride ^ | April 1, 2010 | Conservative American

The bill explicitly states that in order for any individual to be eligible for a health insurance plan and health claim status transactions, they will be issued a national health identification card.   All operating rules set forth in the bill for health plan and claim eligibility must allow for the use of this ID card.

"ELIGIBILITY FOR A HEALTH PLAN AND HEALTH CLAIM STATUS. —The set of operating rules for eligibility for a health plan and health claim status transactions shall be adopted not later than July 1, 2011, in a manner ensuring that such operating rules are effective not later than January 1, 2013, and may allow for the use of a machine readable identification card."

-H.R. 3590 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Page 62

This national health identification card is similar to the Danish national health ID card. It's just another little trick the federal government will use to render the population manageable.

Why use a card when they can just insert in in our heads and hands?

They want an ID in the immigration ‘reform’/amnesty for all Americans to be able to get a job.

So, they want us to have two national Id cards???

A few years ago, McCain introduced legislation to give MEXICO healthcare. But they didn’t need any ID card.

Well, from what I can tell, socialized countries have in the past had multiple national ID cards which usually get phased out in favor of the national health ID card which contains all of your info

Republican lawmaker Lindsay Grahamnesty wants the same thing, but he is an 80% conservative man.

I wonder if someone will come out with a list that is simple. For Amnesty, yes or no.....check. Constitution applied as written, or a living breathing document ....check.....There, my test. I would have put abortion in, but it is a stupid argument. Abortion should be judged state by state, so get the Fed out of this area, let Pro and con be worked out there.

Good. We can use that ID card for voting too. There will be no reason not to now. All arguments about how getting ID cards is unfair to the "poor" etc., is gone. They want health care, they get the ID card. They want to vote, pull out the ID card and PROVE who you are before you vote.

Sounds like this could put a big damper on voter fraud.

Silly you. That would infringe on the rights of illegals to vote here, can’t have that.

Instead, it would be used to harrass YOU, deny you care, track you, beggar you.

Silly, Voter ID? LOL

Not really, ‘cause now they’d know who you voted for and there would be intimidation.

And since every person has to have it for healthcare, every person has to have it. Wow, way to backdoor in a National ID Card.

Oh, and how many of you want to bet that even though we will be required to carry this stupid thing, the Democrats will argue that they don’t have to show ID to vote?

“Good. We can use that ID card for voting too.”

I logged on to make exactly that point. If cards are not a problem to require for “heath care” then they are not a problem to require for voting. (Though the hypocrite fascists will, as usual, not care about their inconsistencies. After all, their ends justify any means....)
