The good news continues for the polar Ice Caps as through the beginning of April they continue to grow and are now approaching historic norms. The amount of sea ice covering the Arctic has dramatically increased during the cold winter, reaching levels not seen at this time of year for almost a decade.Of course our Moonbat friends in the Global Warming movement are throwing out excuse after excuse trying to convince us that it doesn't matter.

The ice is finally starting its trend toward melting.
Ice in the Arctic has been increasing since 2005.
It looks like it’s going to be a while before we see the next batch of Speedo-wearing, bicycle-riding enviroloonies try to ride their bikes to the north pole.

If you take a look at this chart:

you can see that yesterday, Arctic Ice reached a record 7 year high for the date, just a hair above 2003.
One explanation not much discussed was the warming of the Arctic Ocean water from BENEATH, from a submarine volcanic vent. Parts of the Arctic Ocean are well within the “Ring of Fire”, and much like surface water seeps down to hot magma in Yellowstone, to emerge as a geyser, the ocean bottom water (under CONSIDERABLE pressure, it might be noted), seeps down through these cracks in the earth’s mantle, to be turned into superheated and supercritical steam under HUGE pressure. These vents erupt, an underwater steam geyser, but because of the pressure, even at 700+ degrees temperature, does not turn to steam, but ejects up with considerable force, reaching the underside of the ice at temperatures well above freezing, melting it from below. Nothing at all to do with the “carbon footprint” that so many have been so willing to blame for “global warming”.
As the temporary rift in the earth’s mantle is cooled, the cycle is much reduced, and the normal effects of heat loss from the earth’s surface during winter months restores the ice cap.
I was reading a report with a chart on the road last week that said it was still warming and what they said was at lower latitudes the trend was cooler and at higher it was warming.
The reason we didn’t know any better was because no one lives at these higher latitudes. So looking at the data, they didn’t weight it by latitude. Anyone should know that there is more surface area on the earth the closer you get to the equator, so why couldn’t these scientist/activists figure that out?
