The Ignorant Fishermen Blog ^ | 4/5/10 | DJP I.F.

This post is an open letter to Rush Limbaugh pertaining to his question he asked his audience today, “Is It Conservatism's Finest Hour?”

Dear, Mr. Limbaugh, Greetings and Ditto’s from The Ignorant Fishermen Blog. Pertaining to your question on your show today, we - the Ignorant Fishermen – have the answer. It brings us no joy or pleasure, in our response to your question but as you have so honestly have taught us, we must have courage to look at the truth. We ask of you also to do the same. In this sobering reply we do not leave America hopeless nor do we leave America with out the answers to the catatonic realities at hand. My dear Mr. Limbaugh and our fellow Americans, there is great hope to all American Conservatives and to the world in this very hour as we as a nation hang at the precipice of doom.

Today Conservatism in America - and in the world - is at the “Alamo” of its existence. As we shall see, there is no way that we as a nation - let alone a global society - can survive the devastating secular impact of the past 50 years. We are at the imploding point even now. The overall structure is ready to collapse by the overload of godlessness and decadence heaped upon it by the American people. The dam is about to burst, and the “lawlessness flood” of oppression, tyranny, global war and human catastrophe is soon to deluge the United States of America and the entire world. With the current passing of the Health Care Reform bill and a tyrannical President and Leftist elected officials we are speeding toward lawless fascist state.

I think it was Churchhill during WW II who said it, but I’m not sure.

The bottom line to this rant seems to be the familiar "just sit back and let God fix it" attitude.

The words, "God helps those who help themselves" may not have appeared in the Bible, but they stem from common sense nevertheless.  Why do we routinely ask God to fix all of the problems that we created for ourselves and leave to fester?  There comes a time when every parent tires of bailing out a problem child that repeatedly gets into trouble by exercising bad judgment and failing to do the right thing.  We have demonstrated on too many occasions to count, that we haven't learned our lessons.

It's past the time to start doing the right things and this time, the consequences could be devastating.  It's time to change that attitude of "give up and sit on your ass and whine while you wait for God to fix it".

The bottom line to your rant is that If you had read the post you would understand that the bottom line is that you better know Almighty God when... as we are fighting like heck for our countries survival we are going to lose a s they did at the Alamo. Did you hear Rush today... he was scared to death!.. he Never shows his cards but he did today..

there is nothing in there about sitting on your hi -knee and being idol. but that will happen when you play Mr. smarty pants and assume things.. lol

Yes it is Winston Churchill.. He was that man! One of my personal hero's! What is most amazing is that after he had gotten Great Britain through the most trying time in their nations history the English people voted him out of office for a socialist... How unthankful was that? what a shame...

An excerpt of the repeating theme says:

"Our hope should not rest upon the American people or the conservative movement; and our expectations should not be focused on the outcome of future (e.g., the 2010) elections.

Our only hope for today - and tomorrow - is found in Almighty God’s Son Jesus Christ. He alone can set men free from the bondage and tyranny of sin and its dire consequences"

To me, that pretty well says, "Just give up and let God fix it because you don't have a chance anyway."

Nonsense. Some people need to grow a pair.

They shouldn’t because the 2010 election can not turn back the debauchery of our social culture and the devastation of the consequences of American socialism since FDR. It has permeated all facets of our society. Think it through my friend... it is an illusion. Do not be deceived. We should do all we can but do not put your trust in the Titanic when it is nose up.
