Michael Steele's Race-Baiting Strategy

“Republicans as well as Democrats blasted Michael Steele's suggestion that he's being unfairly criticized due to his race.” – Newsmax.com

I think perhaps I understand what temptation Michael Steele –may- be indulging with his “racism” allegations and I’m not sure it is what disappointed conservatives may perceive. Reading these remarks elicits the natural perception that Michael Steele is no different than any other race card playing liberal once he gets himself into trouble. It would appear that he just doesn’t want to take responsibility and will stoop to blaming others instead.

According to a Newsmax column by David Patten, "it's not the first time that Steele has suggested there are racial reasons for the criticism he's encountered. He recently told Washingtonian Magazine, "I don't see stories about internal operations of the DNC that I see about this operation. Why? Is it because Michael Steele is the chairman, or is it because a black man is chairman?"

It is obvious that the liberal media are not forensic accountants when it comes to the expenses of the DNC and he has a valid point in mentioning that double-standard. Being perturbed by this transparent bias, if I were in his shoes I imagine it would be tempting to take the opportunity of turning the tables on the Demagogues and the media by accusing –THEM- of being racists - for a change. That is completely understandable to me because they truly are racists down to their very core and that is the amazing thing. It is astounding how this party of bigots could successfully bamboozle over 92% of an entire race into supporting them when the Democrat Party’s most sacred sacrament of abortion was designed to rid this country of their very race!

It truly would be akin to Africans voluntarily marching and..." (continued)

it does not pay to get into this. It i sbest just to wait until after the elections when most National Chairmen leave any way and then give him a back door out.

Michael Steele has lost my respect, not by any physical trait, but by his own actions and omissions!
Pure and Simple, he has done poorly, and Newt is just as disappointing too!

Blaming "racism" is still playing the blame game (instead of just accepting responsibility)...

This is the lowest common denominator of human character and, if this is what the GOP has fallen to, God help us!

That being said, there are plenty of African-Americans who, like the rest of us, have the strength to bear up under adversity without looking for excuses.

Apparently, Steele isn't one of them.

We must clean house...and Steel is one of our weaknesses that must be jettisoned.

BTW, we are all discriminated against for some reason or another...only losers whine about it. Most humans just shut up and push on.

"Hey Steele...how do you think the really handicapped feel about discrimination? Do you think they whine...or just get over it and get the job done?"

This whining of racism and discrimination is frikken disgusting...and it is time for us to move on!

Fire Michael Steele, now, before it is too late.

IF Steele spent as much time campaiging against the democrats as he does HIS OWN PARTY there'd be no contest in a GOP blowout this November.

Steele is indicted by his own actions.

You know, it's funny just how much of this whining and complaining about weakness we have heard since Obama came on the scene.

Before Obama, the Cross that each man and woman bore was the very thing that gave them character...and now that particular Cross is a burden and a mere complaint.

IMO That alone identifies Obama as the possessor of some special evil.

He has barely got started yet he has brought out the evil in men. He listened well to Jeremiah Wright, who created a career of fanning the flames of grievance and complaint! And to Father Pfleger!

For those of us who wonder what Lucifer might look like or how we might recognize him by the way his invisible wake swept over our fellow man...look no further than Obama.

Obama is about his father's business!

“...IMO That alone identifies Obama as the possessor of some special evil.

Well stated. That reminds me of something I wrote a few days ago in my column titled “Obama’s Overtures toward Free College for All”

“...Throughout his campaign and his first year in office Obama has done a masterful job of inspiring the fallen angels of their nature. Like the devil in “Needful Things”, he has something for everyone. To the young generation who overwhelmingly supported him, he promised them a free college education and stressed that it is a “right”. He didn’t just do this throughout his campaign; he did so during his recent State of the Union Address. If we are to take his words at face value, he can only be doing this as an overture toward “free college for all...”

Steele is about the lowest form of weasel you can get.
Hey, Steele, Republicans ALWAYS get held to higher standards on matters of morality by the media than Democrats do.
Think back to 2006 elections and Mark Foley, and how he was hammered in the media nonstop throughout the elections, hounded out of office, and constantly kept in the news by the MSM till the Republicans got clobbered in the 2006 elections.
Compare that to the almost non-coverage by the liberal media of Barney Frank, who was only reprimanded by the House for using his Congressional office to intervene on behalf of his boyfriend, a homosexual prostitute, to dispose of at least 33 parking tickets, or Democratic Congressman Gerry Studds who had an affair with a teenage male page that, including sex with that page within the precincts of the Capitol.
How many times did you hear of these scandals in the news? Were Barney Frank or Gerry Studds ever forced to resign like Mark Foley was? Of course not. Why not? Because they are Democrats. Race had nuthin' to do with it.

I know I will not donate any money to the RNC until that Jesse Jackson-wannabe-race-baiting Steele is gone. I will give money directly to Republican candidates, but not to the Party.

Yep I agree totally - now if Alan Keyes where RNC Chairman I might get a second job just to earn extra money to support an integrity clad GOP program!
