Mistakenly, Prescott passed the position, digging in at a lower position known as Breed’s Hill. What would ensue was a furious battle that would embolden the American people. The British, though victorious, were taught a painful lesson.

...the bravery of the American citizenry will be on full display come November.

We're going to need it long before that. We have primaries to weed out the RINOs and Ø&Company will not stop. VAT, amnesty, cap n' tax, etc., will be shoved at us. We need to shove back.

Great write! I too look forward to the day when the passage of Obamacare -much like the Battle of Thermopylae, Bunker Hill and The Alamo- is seen as a small victory for the forces aligned against liberty but ultimately served to embolden the disciples of liberty that went on to win the war.

I swear to you gramps, that I will stand on the front lines and take that shot to defend what you fought for in honor and terror back then. I will not let you down. I will die for you if it comes to that.
