Nearly six months into the Obama presidency, the mainstream media has finally done a bit of the candidate background reporting it declined to do during the campaign other than in Wasilla and whaddya know? The New York Times unearthed a 1983 article called, Breaking the War Mentality, that Columbia student Barack Obama wrote for a campus newspaper. The article shows that Obama dreaded American militarism and its military-industrial interests, while effusing enthusiasm for the dangerously delusional nuclear-freeze movement.

I ask the question for the following reason: Obama's signature on his Selective Service document is way different from his signature today.
This is from July of 2009.
I'm stunned - surprised the New York Times could "find" anything beyond a DNC press release...
Is there the full text that can be read? The one quote given from him is truly gobbledygook. I read it three times and still can’t tell what he was saying.
I want to start seeing big media backlash against him. They need to start getting angry instead of wimpy.
Obama shows his bigotry..as well as his stupidity, with this little ditty:
“Also, the New York City Council
may pass a resolution.in April calling for
greater social as opposed to military
spending. Things like this may dispell
the idea that disarmament is a white

Journalistic malpractice.

Rush nailed it when he said: “Man-Child”
Yes but the last line tells something of his going non nuke..he thought that then and now is putting us at risk, He does not believe in peace through strength..he is such a piker he thinks if we disarm, people will like us..he is so Rodney King.
Well when you are the first King or Emperor of America your signature has to be sort of artsy..but you knew that/s
I wrote a post a couple of days ago about the Child in Chief.
See first paragraph. It agrees with your assessment.

And the day starts of with a bang. Isn't it AMAZING?.. another Friday news revelation)
Like I said, that’s no different than most college students. However, most college students eventually grow up, get real jobs, and put that idiocy aside.
Was it you who about a year ago posted some info about the anti-nuke groups in NY and how 0bama may have been involved back in the early 80s? Thought you may be interested in this ....see link at #27
