VIDEO: Street Gangs Seek To Kill Cops

The violent street gangs that largely profit from retail drug trafficking increasingly are taking aim at law enforcement authorities from the East to the West coasts.

The NYPD has announced two separate plots against its officers. Yesterday, New York's finest announced "a massive gang takedown" which "uncovered a rare alliance between Bloods and Crips and a ruthless plot to assassinate cops" as reported by Rocco Parascandola for the Daily News. And last week the NYPD announced an investigation into an alleged plot by the transnational MS-13 to assassinate "an officer in every command" as reported by Rocco Parascandola for the Daily News.

On the West coast, the street gangs have moved from plotting to staging attacks against police officers. In Hemet, CA four booby trap and arson attacks have been targeted against members of the Hemet Gang Task Force in Riverside County since January as reported by David Kelly for the Los Angeles Times:

The first attempted attack came on New Year's Day when someone scaled the offices of the Hemet-San Jacinto Valley Gang Task Force and redirected natural gas lines inside the building in hopes of causing an explosion. It didn't work. Next, a homemade firearm was rigged to go off when gang officers opened the gate to their parking lot. The bullet narrowly missed an officer. The third incident involved what police said was a deadly device affixed to the bottom of an unmarked police car. The device fell off before it could activate. On March 22 someone threatened to burn a police car, and the next day four code-enforcement trucks were torched behind City Hall.

Really, Los Angeles news was reporting crime down to 1950’s levels - our old police chief has been noting what a great job he and his department are doing.

I can see this happening very easily. They come from an area where there are few police with no support infrastructure, consequently, they developed an attitude that we can beat the cops. When we import foreigners? We import their poverty, dirt and mores. What they find acceptable behavior at home.

Another example of this? WE now have an occupant in the white house who does not relate to American mores nor culture.

So why isnt FBI just out willnilly rounding up known gang members? Who cares if there's any proof or not? Isnt that what they did in Michigan with the so called Christian milita? The info released said these people were "targeting police officers" so what's the difference?

The bottom line is that from one point of view, the police dominate a region because they are the most powerful gang. The mistake criminal gangs make is that they assume that just because the police abide by rules, they *have* to.

The truth is that, around the civilized world, honest police only use the force they need to use. But if they need to use more, they use more.

I remember how, in one unnamed city, the city government was replaced with an ultra-liberal one that insisted the police had to be nicer to ultra-violent and vicious criminals than even to ordinary citizens. So the police made a deal with a motorcycle gang. They would generally leave the gang alone, since they were not much trouble, but if a cop needed “back up”, he would call a biker.

Once the biker arrived, the officer would take a powder for a few minutes, so he could honestly say that he didn’t see any altercation. Ironically, most of the time, the bikers just advised the bad guy that they had one, and only one, chance to leave town for good. That usually worked.

“advised the bad guy that they had one, and only one, chance to leave town for good”

back in the 1940s that’s how the LAPD dealt with more than a few mobsters who were not welcome within city limits

Shades of NYC in the 70’s.

Just one more thing that points to the reason the second amendment was included in the constitution. The key to this, if the cops would only figure it out, is to have armed citizens everywhere, whether the frickin' cops and other politicians want to believe it or not.

The Soviet Union was notorious for their violent crime, due to an unarmed citizenry and the fact that local politicians covered up crime in order to make themselves look better. In Soviet courts it wasn't uncommon for judges to tell victims that they could have run away from violent encounters with criminals. Does that sound familiar at all?

Can you count, suckers!

Now, look what we have here before us. We got the Saracens sitting next to the Jones Street Boys. We've got the Moonrunners right by the Van Cortlandt Rangers. Nobody is wasting nobody. That... is a miracle. And miracles is the way things ought to be.

You're standing right now with nine delegates from 100 gangs. And there's over a hundred more. That's 20,000 hardcore members. Forty-thousand, counting affiliates, and twenty-thousand more, not organized, but ready to fight: 60,000 soldiers! Now, there ain't but 20,000 police in the whole town. Can you dig it?

Yeah.

Can you dig it?

Yeah!

Can you dig it?

YEAH!

: Now, here's the sum total: One gang could run this city! One gang. Nothing would move without us allowing it to happen. We could tax the crime syndicates, the police, because WE got the streets, suckers! Can you dig it?

The problem in the past has been the man turning us against one another. We have been unable to see the truth, because we have fighting for ten square feet of ground, our turf, our little piece of turf. That's crap, brothers! The turf is ours by right, because it's our turn. All we have to do is keep up the general truce. We take over one borough at a time. Secure our territory... secure our turf... because it's all our turf!

Remember the TPF teams of the late 60’s, early 70’s? They were effective, but Knapp Commission revelations stopped all of that.

Reclassify gangs as either domestic and/or international terror organizations. When busted, seize all assets, remove public benefits from everyone closely associated with them and long enough prison sentences so they have time enough to work in prison with all earnings being paid back to the government to cover costs of trials, public benefits received while involved in these gangs etc etc. Make it unbearably uncomfortable to be seen or associated with a gang member, instead of the BET glorification and social acceptance of the lifestyle.

Gotta love bikers who give the Ving Rhames treatment ... "You leave town tonight, right now. And once you gone, you stay gone, or you be gone. You done lost all your LA privileges, deal? Getcher ass outta here."
