Under News/Activism, rxsid copied my story "Kenyan Minister Khalwale Asks When Obama Will Repatriate" without so much as a link or an attribution to my blog. I researched and published the article today.
This is unacceptable.
I gave your blog a hit if that makes you feel any better. It’s good stuff.
Umm, have another look:

Thanks. All I ask for is honesty.
That link was NOT there earlier. I tried to post a comment on the thread but it didn’t get published, which is why I created this thread. Glad to see the change, and thanks for letting me know.
The poster didn't correctly name you as the author, and instead attributed it to the original person that you quoted. If you like, click the "report abuse" button on the original posting and ask the moderator to cite you as the author.
However, in all fairness: he quoted your blog and linked to it, when he could have just quoted and linked the original document:

If a change is made to the original posting to add a link, there's an "edit history" entry made by the moderator. There is no history of an edit for that posting.
I tried to post a comment on the thread but it didnt get published, which is why I created this thread.
Yes, it did get published:

Sometimes, the forums software doesn't add a comment to the bottom of a posting before it displays again. You just have to wait a few seconds and refresh the page to see it.
No problem and I don’t blame you.
I can’t explain the “edit history” but I assure you, that link was NOT there. It was a different link. I checked it several times.
All is resolved with rxsid. S/he has attributed the article correctly on the News thread.
Thanks.
