“ There are so many thoughts running through my brain but they all come back to the events of Thursday, 15 April 2010….Tax Day. On that day I had the distinct honor and pleasure to address two TEA Party groups; Ft Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. It was a fantastic gathering of everyday Americans with their families.
However, we get the topic of this month’s installment from our dear President. It was President Obama who after the tax day rallies admonished the participants that they should just say, “Thank You”. That is correct; his highness believes that you loyal subjects should be thankful for all the new taxes and growth of government imposed in his first year.

We all know that working folks have much less time to do vetting of candidates and keep up with events going on across our state. Being retired gives me more time to help spread the word and do much needed research.
I have said this many times, but I keep saying it over and over. Until we can do better at getting information out to Florida Freepers our state FR forum is the place to post information. If EVERY FL Freeper would register on the state forum and post information there we all would be better informed about events going on and also learn more about Conservative candidates running in every district.
The good news is a few of us FL Freepers are working on some ideas to improve the distribution of information.

Hi Friend, We MUST send Allen West to Congress! And you are so right about district 22 having an “entrenched incumbent” in Klein! That is why Allen and other great conservatives across our state in DEM controlled districts need all the help and support they can get! Even small donations from many can and will make a big difference. Those who can not donate can help by spreading the word to all they know and help make phone calls to get the vote out. And we ALL know that ACORN (by other names) will be doing their thing on election day!
Being a poll watcher in one’s district is a super way to help. Freepers could work with friends to put in at least a few hours on election day! If anyone is interested in helping this way, just go to the link below, find your county, download the poll watcher application and become a poll watcher at a precinct near you.

Of course, walking door to door in Florida's heat and sun is not for everyone. Other campaign volunteer tasks also need to be done -- including tasks that can be done from home.

Would it be possible to set up a tax system that would allow you to allocate percentages of your tax payment to certain departments? That way the people would have real control. And actions speak louder than words.
