I am sure you both are right, that most Hispanics who went through the system and/or fought for our country to become legal citizens are not fond of having millions just walk across the border. Yet it seems that many American Hispanics, even some politicians and former pols, are all up in arms over this law as if we had declared the burning of witches. I have news for them; in almost every other country in the world, it is already illegal to sneak into the country illegally. Also the Arizona law only affirms federal immigration law; it only says that they are actually going to enforce federal law on this matter. How can Obama fight against enforcing federal immigration law? That looks bad on many levels.

It’s all about culture in the end, and there is a reason why Japan and Germany rose from the ashes and rubble like a phoenix after WWII despite no real natural resources. The US no longer even tries to integrate or assimilate, and we are becoming a more fractured society y the day. We are also straying from the Judea Christian values that made this nation the economic, political and military power it was and is. As these vales decay, so will this nation. Look at our level of corruption, our current monetary policies.......... we’re one step removed from a Caribbean banana republic, and even though many Americans today think their wealth, security, and national prestige are a natural state and take it all for granted, it isn’t. As we import millions, no longer assimilate, but also dumb down and decay internally, we will slip away in time as a has been power like Great Britain. But the important thing is that those like Barbara Boxer, who’s family made its fortune off trade with China get rich, that the power brokers in Washington preserve their power....... treason comes in many forms, and today no one even takes this concept or term serious. You have politicians selling us out, and the American people are happy and willing to go along with nearly anything as long as they are promised a $250 stimulus check.

And what does the left constantly do? Mention how other countries do things...like socialized medicine as a reason for us to. OK...let's adopt the harsh immigration laws of other countries then.

Totally fair...you mention that to a "Hispanderer" you get a change of subject...they know they are full of crap they just think we don't know it. If they have a complaint take it to the Mexican government that drove them here...but instead of renouncing Mexico they come here flying Mexican flags like an invading army not desirable new citizens.
Obama fears this because it becomes an impediment to amnesty.
We need this in MORE STATES.
If more states do this, especially blue states then democrats become endangered.
