Not content to screw up the housing and banking industry, now you’re going to screw up what’s left of the country, aren’t Dodd , you f**king a-hole? Why isn’t this putz in jail?
One of the problems, as I see it, is that the news media and politicians keep referring to the bill in AZ as something dealing with Immigration Law.
That is why so many are saying it’s un-Constitutional, since Immigration Law is something done by the Feds.
The AZ bill, IMO, has NOTHING to do with altering current law regarding immigration. It merely pertains to ENFORCEMENT of current immigration laws!
Illegal aliens are NOT “immigrants”. They are people who have criminally violated the immigration laws. AZ is just planning to reinforce the Federal law by doing what the Federal Gov’t. has refused to do.
Generally speaking I wouldn’t mind that, but I think a few additional detail would make that okay with me. Too bad nothing remotely like that will ever be voted on.
