Whose Country is This?
CDS ^ | 4/25/2010 | Patrick J. Buchanan

With the support of 70 percent of its citizens, Arizona has ordered sheriffs and police to secure the border and remove illegal aliens, half a million of whom now reside there.

Arizona acted because the U.S. government has abdicated its constitutional duty to protect the states from invasion and refuses to enforce America’s immigration laws. “We in Arizona have been more than patient waiting for Washington to act,” said Gov. Jan Brewer. “But decades of inaction and misguided policy have created an unacceptable situation.”

We have a crisis in Arizona because we have a failed state in Washington.

What is the response of Barack Obama, who took an oath to see to it that federal laws are faithfully executed?

He is siding with the law-breakers. He is pandering to the ethnic lobbies.

Amazingly enough Limbaugh has discovered the illegal alien problem today. Better late than never. Or should I say “finally, we don’t a Republican President pushing treason this time.”

Yes, Rush was quite silent when Bush was pushing amnesty (aka “immigration reform”).

Question: "Whose Country is This?"

Response: Take a real good look at those in office. Use of one's senses, sight and sound and in some instances smell, will reveal the truth as to those who think it is theirs.

Comment: If we really want to change what is happening to our country we are going to have to fight-literally! The coalition coming into power are not going to voluntarily surrender. I don't think we are ready. I don't think we have the leadership at this time.

Peter Brimelow has described how he would approach Rush over the years asking him to get involved in speaking out about the evils of illegal immigration. Limbaugh would hem and haw and give Peter mealy mouthed excuses and would continue to screen out any and all calls about illegal aliens.

And then came Bush’s big amnesty push and the ensuing revolt of the American public. Rush was put in danger of being revealed as being totally irrelevant to one of the major grassroots political uprisings of his time. Suddenly Rush was yelling “wait! wait! I’m your leader! wait for me!!” and immigration would get discussed, oh, once every six months or so. Now that Obama is the third term of Bush’s amnesty push Rush is discussing the issue.

What I expect is that soon enough he will be using the “F-word”: ‘enforcment FIRST’, meaning we should all embrace amnesty once something is done at the border itself. Nothing will be done about deporting the 20-30 million illegal aliens already here. This is the fallback position of the Treason Lobby and we will soon be hearing it from them. I’d look for Michael Medved to be the stalking horse.

Medved was totally pro-amnesty until his listeners really hammered him back. Then reluctantly he moved to “secure the border first.” This is totally misguided. ANY amnesty, and we’re cooked. Ten million new ‘rat welfare voters means the ‘rats win forever.

Yep. Medved’s instincts were lousy when he was a 20-something communist and he’s still not someone to trust. When Medved comes out for a particular candidate I start looking for what has to be wrong with him.

He’s spent a lot of his ‘conservative’ years purging people he doesn’t like, like Buchanan in the past and JD Hayworth right now. Unlike Ho and Red Ron Dellums, these are the sort of men whose reputations Medved is willing to trash.

I was listening to Medved’s fellow traveller Hugh Hewitt today. He informed his listeners that “immigration is a loser issue for Republicans. No more than 5% of the voters care about it.”

So there you have it. The Yuppie Snob wing of “conservative” radio has spoken.
