With Republicans like Snowe who needs Democrats?
Creating Orwellian Worldview ^ | 4/27/10 | alaphiah

She is solely responsible for the Health Care Reform Law. Without her vote the bill doesn’t get out of the senate finance committee and we wouldn’t be facing this Liberal Democrat Europeanization of America via Health Care law.

Now Democrats want to permanently bailout the financial institutions which incidentally they demonized as the bad guys responsible for the global financial meltdown (but were only to big to fail), and now who is it that Democrats look to so that they can proceed with the one Republican vote need to put their plans into action? Why the Senator from Maine Olympia Snowe that’s who.(see story)(and here)

By gosh with Republicans like Sen. Snowe who needs Democrats?

Did the people in her state want her to vote for the health care bill?

What a stupid assertion. The vote was 14-9. Without Snowe it would have been 13-10. Nothing like completely discrediting yourself in the first paragraph.

If Simpson sides with the democrats instead of Ryan and advocates accepting this unconstitutional power grab by financing it with a VAT, it will be like throwing a bucket of cold water on the republican base. McConnell better make that clear to Simpson. And someone better make that clear to McConnell.

I agree she's a RINO and needs to go.

But was her vote really needed to move the bill out of the Democrat majority committee?

People do not realize how stupid Olympia Snowe is. That she got her seat in the senate by the death of her husband. That she is manipulated by smarter people around her. But mostly that she is stupid.

There is plenty of blame to go around without Pres Bush ruling like a Centrist Democrat there would not have been the bloodbath in 08 giving Democrats the Senate which gave us HC. Yes lots of folks to blame here and those fingers should point alot toward abandoning common sense principles that we should have stood for.

Her vote did give bipartisan cover though, back when the Dems wanted that.

<< People do not realize how stupid Olympia Snowe is. >>

Yesterday, I got a letter in the mail from the RNC requesting money. In the column where it asks you how much you’re giving, I wrote:

“O,as in Olympia Snowe. I don’t support RINO’s.”

Sadly, we need to replace 2 in AR, 1 in MO, 1 in FL, and many in the plain states before we can worry about her. Why are there any democrat senators in red states should be the question.

her vote was needed to make it look like this stinker had
“bipartisan” sppport

all the GOP shares democrat failure when a bill is “bipartisan”- except the GOP gets all the blame by the democrats - that’s why Nan and Harry with their majorities, fight so hard to ridicule and bribe Republicans into voting for this crap

Didn’t Olympia hold out on the “Finanicial Reform Bill”?
Maybe she figured out she was played, since I don’t think obama has called, written, or sent flowers since that vote, and no more dinners at the WH

Sorry, I disagree.

If Snowe is replaced, she will be replaced by a communist.

The great experiment of replacing RINOs with communists has been underway for 15 months.

How’s it working out?

I seem to recall countless party line votes to move bills out of committee. Since it's your assertion, why don't you provide the documentation?

You’re right, I’m wrong. Apparently this issue needed the appearance of bipartisanship that is why Snowe’s participation was solicited by Democrats.

The point is the president stated that a party couldn’t govern by straight partisanship. And Snowe provides the veneer of bipartisanship every time she votes against the interest of the country and sides with Democrats.
