A Pinal County Sheriff's deputy was shot in the stomach Friday by an illegal immigrant off Interstate 8, according sheriff's officials. The search and rescue deputy was investigating a load of marijuana in the desert and was confronted by five suspects. The wounded deputy is expected to survive.

You are 100% correct. I’ll go even further: we shouldn’t have police, soldiers or firemen either. I’m always hearing about them getting hurt. If we did not have them, we would not have to worry about their safety.
It is clear that fighting terrorists, criminals or fires are not the answers either. Elected officials have had their chances to address the problems of fires, criminals and terrorists for quite some time now.
PS I almost forgot my conclusion: So we should just ignore
criminals, fires and terrorists, as well as our borders.
Sorry that’s incorrect. Pinal’s Sheriff Babeu seems like a good guy and is on the right side. You’re thinking of the Pima County Sheriff.
