What ever happened to freedom of speech?
TPM reported:
A municipal court judge in New Jersey resigned this week after the state Supreme Court advised him not to promote his new movie -- a satire about President Obama's life that depicts him making a deal with the devil in order to become a communist dictator. Here is the trailer:"It put me in an impossible position," the ex-judge, Kenneth Del Vecchio, told TPM in an interview today. "I had two choices: Either I could remain as a judge and shut up and have no free speech rights whatsoever ... or I had to resign."

Kenneth Del Vecchio, in his decision, exhibits virtues of courage, magnanimity, goal oriented ambition, truthfulness, and righteous indignation.
I applaud his decision and wish him well.
Also demonstrates the power of mullah obama.... in a “christian” heritage America.
So much for freedom of speech.
If He’d made a movie about killing George Bush, and called it “Death of a President”, he’d be a media hero...
Oh...
Wait...
I think it is terrific!
Some great lines in the trailer.
Third option: release the movie, give the finger to the state supreme court and fight if they try to do anything other than "advise".
Something wrong here OBAMA IS THE DEVIL
He would be hailed as a hero though if he had made a movie joking about illegal aliens killing American citizens.
They damn sure have a double standard.
The acting ain’t bad but it would be a lot better if it was a black kid playing the part. You really have to read between the lines to know this is even about zero.
I’d like to see him take this to the SCOTUS! Just dreaming..
The plot would explain why the feds are so set on prosecuting the Hutaree Militia. They were organized to fight the Antichrist.
After watching that execrable trailer, all I can say is the reputations of William Dieterle, Stephen Vincent Benét, Bernard Herrman, and, especially, Walter Huston are safe. The judge should have kept his day job.
How could I have forgotten Simone Simon? Best entrance EVER to a movie!
It didn’t look that poorly done. I wonder if it will be available on Netflix.
We recently had a TV newsman fired for speaking at a Tea Party rally, for himself, on his day off.
Station’s anchor (owner’s daughter) said, with a straight face, that he had to be let go because it was a violation of ‘journalistic ethics’ for any journalist to publicly endorse or show support for any candidate or issue.
Hypocrites!
