Travis, who are the guys in the photo, and when were they taken? On the 5th (damned if I'm going to call it "sinko" anything!)?

A little cognitive dissonance is in evidence there, the boys need to get their heads together and figure out whether they want to ask for "shamnesty", or if they're going to take the land.

Mutually exclusive program aims, don't you think?

"We see America as a northern front of a revolutionary movement"

Ad we see the Mexican border as the burial trench for perhaps thousands of mis-guided revolutionaries. We will dump their dead carcasses in the trench from wherever they may fall.

UCLA told me the video is from 2007. He is a teacher at Santee Education Complex who was invited by a student group, La Raza. I pointed out that La Raza is a seditious group that calls for the retaking of the US, and should not be sanctioned by UCLA. According to americanpowerblog.blogspot.com the guy’s name is Ron Gochez. The UCLA representative said Fox Radio News has more information.

I encourage everyone to send this letter to Ramon C. Cortines
Superintendent of Schools
superintendent@lausd.net

School Board... See More
communications@lausd.net

Superintendent Ramon C. Cortines and the School Board:

You must get rid of Ron Gochez and his racist statements. He is a traitor to the USA and should be brought up on several charges.

Believe me, the longer you keep this madman who does not know history, the more people that will pull their kids out of your school and turn to homeschooling and private schools.

THe photos of the Brown Berets of Aztlan were taken in San Diego in May 2006. They have a colorful history if you google around.

To the UCLA, ahem, professor: bring it. Put your money where your mouth is. Pansy.

We did NOT steal “Mexico’s” land. In the first place, the Spanish “settled”, “conquered” whatever term you choose to use the American Southwest. They also conquered “Mexico” from the Aztecs among others. Secondly, we won the territory in the Mexican American war - which, by the way was fought against many Spanish officers. Third, we also PAID Mexico for the terrority, I forget how much but some enterprising FReeper should know including Larry.

The U.S. paid in those year dollars, I think, $45 or $50 million (don’t have sources handy and am on a crappy comp, so I can’t blast out to wiki and check, but in today’s money would be billions. But how many nations, after they whip the socks off an enemy, say, “Ok, we’re taking your land as part of the settlement, but here’s some money anyway”?

Says FOX News:

Robert Alainz, director of communications for the Los Angeles Unified School District confirmed to FOX News Radio that the teacher in the video is an employee of their district.
”It was given at a rally at UCLA and the teacher in question was apparently providing comments or a speech during the rally as an individual and not as a representative of the school sytem,” Alainz said.

Gochez railed against what he called, “Frail, racist, white people” and “our enemy is capitalism and imperialism.” However, Alainz said the school teacher will not be disciplined for what he said.

“We looked at the speech over and over again,” he said. “We found no violation in district policy.”

Alainz said the school district’s legal department reviewed the video and they took into account the teacher was giving the speech on his own time and “not as a representative of the school system.”

The principal of Santee High School said they’ve received calls from around the world inquiring about the speech. However, he declined to officially comment on the matter.
As far as the school system is concerned, the teacher’s comments, no matter how inflammatory, are considered free speech.

Dear Ron, you are a racist non-productive communist dumbsh*t. Let me ask you something: When WORKERS OF THE WORLD get everything they want from those who produce and create wealth, and the producers are no longer able to sustain the lifestyle you demand, what are you going to do then?

Look at Greece. The Utopian socialist lifestyle you espouse is exploding. Being about give me stuff, you probably haven't noticed that your ideal society is going bankrupt. But then, you, being a taker, wouldn't notice that.

What? You really think there is some unlimited wealth to spread around? You think that the Fedgov actually produces anything or creates wealth for you to demand? What? You want "Obama stash" as some idiot recently mentioned when asked where her undeserved stuff was going to come from.

Just out of curiosity, do you even understand why socialism and communism has NEVER worked? We even tried it here in the USA during 1960's and not one of those "communes" are still in existence in any viable form. Do you know why, Mister Castro loving dipwad?

Because, once you take away incentive and reward and make ALL support the commune equally, human desire, or lack of, rears it's head and you find that many will not work as hard as others.

Once that happens, those that produce get tired of carrying the load for those who don't and give up and revert to nasty capitalism. You're naive. You think it hasn't been done correctly before and your bleeding heart will make it work now? Actually, you're not naive, you're just ignorant.

You are a seditious little man who has had the great fortune to rail about a Nation that has given you so much opportunity. Grow up, boy.

Last question I always forget to ask you takers: Exactly what do you want from us producers and believe you should be entitled to?: A 3 bedroom house with a 2 car garage? A car? A television? Clothing? A phone? A cell-phone? Cable or satellite? Food? Utilities? Medical? Entertainment? <

Exactly where do you stop wanting FREE stuff from others and expect to be equal as far as material possessions? Can you give me a cut-off where hard-working responsible and self-accountable adults need not provide you with more?

You whiney little punks have no idea what true poverty is. Having serve in the US Navy for 11 years, I've seen it in many parts of the world. You don't know how well off you and the vast majority of Americans have it. Go to h*ll.

Haddit,

I agree with you.
I remember reading an article about 20 years ago telling how in the Soviet Union the farmers on the collectives would park their tractor on the other side of a hill so that the supervisor would hear it and think that they were working. They would dump the fertilizer in a ditch so they wouldn't have to spread it.
Can you imagine the low level of farm work that you will get out of these whiney neo-communists once they deplete all the wealth and we have to go back to an agrarian society?

There is a bigger story in this that I will tell later. UCLA is a minor player in this. Everyone should take a look at the high school’s website. It’s outrageous, disturbing, and chilling.

The great value of FR: it was a Freeper who pointed out to me what an incredibly high price we “paid” to Mexico after we won the damn war. I’m still looking for the Soviet payment to the Nazis, or to any of the eastern Euro countries they stole.
