Video: Local TV station WVUA has been down in Orange Beach covering preparations for the potential damage to the Alabama coasts threatened by the oil spill. This reporter is at Zeke's Marina, home to the largest charter fishing fleet on the Gulf Coast where boats are docked due to fear of "oily" fish from consumers!
Funny how the MSM isn’t going ape$#!+ on this. If a Republican were president, all the networks would be showing 24/7 coverage of this.
Yep. My friend has a house down there and we were supposed to have gone down Thursday for the long weekend. He kept in touch with his real estate people and they told us not to come that the tar balls were washing up and the smell was awful. It is terrible down there.

I read somewhere in the last week about how much oil has leaked vs. the normal natural leakage from NON-well sources in the Gulf... and how the leak, thus far, is actually relatively a minor thing in perspective.
I firmly believe that officials are being overly cautious (actually - being controlling dictators....).
I am still wearing a tinfoil hat over the explosion that set all this in motion. Add to that the fact that oil and fuel prices were not going up quite as fast as many predicted - so we find a ripe environment for speculation.
Regardless of the actual environmental damage that may come of this - it will be blown WAY out of proportion as a tool against drilling for oil. Just like how every school shooting is waved in the face to get “assault weapons” and other unconstitutional legislation passed.
Let me guess, next come the blog pimp photos, then after that you contact Eaker to come help you detract further!

I think Orange Beach, Florida runs into Gulf Shores, Alabama because it’s one of our favorite places to vacation!
This makes me sick! Those beautiful beaches covered in oil!
