This probably confirms that the Utah GOP did the right thing eliminating Senator Bob Bennett, because RINO so called conservative David Brooks thinks it's a 'damn outrage'...(Video)

Brooks works for the NYT and goes in NBC.... he’s a RINO whore who makes his living off of pleasing the Left.
Interesting, to call it an “outrage.”
That’s not the cry of a disappointed political interest in a democratic republic - rather, it’s the cry of an elite who is pissed that the bottom dwellers don’t know their damn places.
Orrin Hatch must lead more than a token resistance to Obama's supreme court appointee, he must lead an all out war against her. Senator Hatch's tendency has always been to cozy up to the likes of Teddy Kennedy. The days of forgiveness to Republicans who engage in this kind of betrayal are now over. Hatch has been plainly shown what the new rules are and what he must do.
what an elitist. The citizen have decided their representative no longer represent them, so they voted him out. This is normal for any democracy
How is it even Brooks’ business???
“and now he’s losing his career over that - it’s a damn outrage”
Since when is public service a “career”?? Brooks is pathetic and laughable. Brooks is literally the House Conservative at the NYT, might as well be Step N Fetchit.
When Bob Benette referred to “it”(representation) as his “career”, you knew something wasn’t right...(in more ways than one.)
Calling Brooks a RINO is an insult to RINOs.
He’s more like the house eunich for the NYSlimes.
He gets paid to spout his opinion.
Brooks is still faking that “token conservative” gig at the NY Times?
Brooks is not a RINO. If he were, he’d be a threat to the Editors of the NY Slimes. He’s a eunuch who gives Republicans and Conservatives a bad name. Between him and Ross Douthat, these guys are how the NY Slimes wants the Republicans to act like.
Bennett would also be 77 at the time of his election to another six-year term.
The more attention paid to his spouting, the more he is considered valuable.
We are going to get MORE.
What’s a damn outrage is that David Brooks is considered a conservative!
He probably thought he was gonna sit there inWashington and die in office like Ted Kennedy did, and then we would be left with the Republicans running around in a panic yelping that we need to defend Bob Bennett's seat.
Time for the old coot to go. He promised to retire after two terms anyway.
Looks like the Republican Party just grew a new vertebrae in Utah. If this trend continues, it just might grow a real backbone!
Visualize 60% Republican majorities in both houses!
60% republicans, but only half on which are on the side of the ppl, while the other half support subsiding big corporations and increase in spending. We need republicans that will actually slash government spending by HALF
Hatch has been plainly shown what the new rules are and what he must do.
On the one hand, I’m thinking, good luck with that, and OTOH I’m thinking, maybe he will get it? Probably not.
He is their porch republican.
It must be a really good gig to want so desperately to keep an office at that age. I'm sensitive to the issue of age discrimination, but it's time for all the septuagenarians and octogenarians to hand over the keys to their Senate offices.
It must be the power of those offices that has corrupted their values. Guys like Bennett and McCain don't understand that they are part of the problem, and the only solution is to retire them against their will.
They get addicted to the power and the perqs.
“How DARE the proles not know their place! Boy, bring me more caviar!”
If he doesnt then His time is up and they can Kick him out as well
I didn’t think that a “conservative” such as David Brooks would have much use for a Republican Senator from Utah. Who knew?
We are on Hayek's Road to Serfdom, due to that 'dainty morsel' Von Mises talked about, except that today the dainty morsels have multiplied like bacteria in a septic tank.
Reagan couldn't slash the budget, the Gingrich-led Congress couldn't slash the budget. I wonder, with 3 Trillion in debt, two wars to fight and trouble on the border, if we can somehow think and fight our way out of this mess.
