ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Tiger Woods' longtime swing coach resigned Monday night, leaving the world's No. 1 player without one of his top advisers as he tries to rebuild his game.
Hank Haney said in a statement to the Golf Channel that he enjoyed working with Woods but he thinks it's time for him to step aside as his coach.

Tiger needs to retire to an island and take up a game like bridge. I think the world is done with him.

...he needs more time with Barkley

Tiger doesn’t seem to need a coach...he was swinging quite a bit...

Yup. I think he needs to look at what he has, and look at what he has accomplished, and say "It's enough."

Tiger never needed a swing coach. He’s been swinging pretty good without any help.

Too young to surrender just like that.

My thought too...Tiger has to be one of the most prolific swingers in the history of the game. I’m surprised he needed a coach.

And too driven. You don’t do what he’s done if you’re willing to use the phrase “good enough”.

Let’s take stock of the situation:
1. Spinal disc problems
2. Impending divorce (announced early this morning)
3. Coach resigns
4. Announces he might never play again
THE MOST PRECIPITOUS FALL I CAN IMAGINE

Some golf people and Tiger fan boys over at serious golf message boards like golfwrx.com are dumping on Hank Haney.
The problem is Tiger - he is a disaster.
Tiger and his posse of other F-Up’s and pimp daddys like Charles Barkley, Lawrence Taylor and Michael Jordan are a mess.
