Some days I make plans...others I want to run and hide.

Advanced age makes it all seem unreal to me. What must young people think and plan to do? Are they burying their heads in the sand?

I do believe there is a great deal of truth in Beck’s theories and explanations.

“What must young people think and plan to do? Are they burying their heads in the sand?:

Good question. I’m of two minds.

One, that eventually all things will pass, and Christ will return.

Two, that I should be getting prepared.

Three, I realise that my current position is neither and that I have some serious issues myself that I have to fix in order to be prepared. So pretty much everything I do is towards this.

Then I have to worry about getting married and having kids. :) It’s supposed to be fun to be young, but I don’t see it.

Make your plans, and plan to survive. The wisdom and experience of our elders is one of he most valuable commodities we have - it’s the foundation upon which we’ll build a restored American Republic.

Most - but not all - young people do have their heads buried in one location or another. Perhaps a third are awake and watching what’s happening around them. But a third’s all we need.

Persevere. And get yourself to someplace relatively safe.
